What is NOT to Love?

Highest standards have been maintained and although my visits are far between just because of geography, this remains a favorite. Too seasoned a staff and consistent in every way to have to resort to pretense or snobbery. Love.

I had dinner last night with 6 friends at Vincent's but caution those who haven't been here before it is easy to miss the turn in as bushes obstruct their sign when driving West on camelback. Valet parking on site. Warm welcome as you enter and taken to a lovely round table, plenty of room for all. The menu is... More

We were here for a business dinner, party of 8. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and the desserts. Service was good. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. We would return.

Well we had a wonderful meal at Vincents. This was our first time there and we enjoyed the intimate setting of the dining room with tapestry on the wall, stone walls, white table clothes, flowers on each table and lovely bone china with a sweet pattern on it. It was like the details of fine dining were there. We went... More

We've been to Vincent's for special occasions throughout the years and always enjoyed it. This September we decided to try the Restaurant Week menu. We were not disappointed. Our starters were the rich and creamy Lobster Bisque and a delicious roasted tomato tart in a rich, buttery pastry shell. Our entres were lemon sole in a beurre blanc sauce, and... More

Had dinner there with some friends for restaurant week. Had a price-fix 3 course meal for $44. Not bad for the meal. Appetizers were ok. My wife had the lobster ravioli and I had the ??tart salad. They were ok not super special for a 4/5 star restaurant. We had the steaks. Steaks were well seasoned but the potatoes that... More

There was a time, 25 years ago, when no one would have challenged that Vincent Guerithault was the leader of nouvelle cuisine in Phoenix. There's been a lot of growth and high end competition in that time, but Vincent's stands in there with the best. Lobster bisque, pate, bread basket are 10s. I'm a fan of the Bistro, the Sat... More

Although the service was excellent in this restaurant, the food was clearly lacking. We were here during restaurant week and they presented a nice menu. I ordered three courses and two of the three were disappointing. While the food wasn't bad, or badly done, it just seemed incomplete. The transformation of flavors and the opportunity to turn a dish into... More

None of our dishes really stood out. The croissants were excellent, and the flourless chocolate cake was fine. "Fine" actually described most of our meals--certainly nothing directly objectionable, but also nothing particularly outstanding. Markup on the wines was a bit excessive in places as well. Overall, This would have been a solid "4" were it slightly less expensive. As it... More

My wife and I had dinner at Vincent's last night and we loved it. Great atmosphere, food and service. Each serving met our expectation and we would highly recommend it to others.
