Go for brunch, get there early

We were drawn to St. Francis by the entertaining review on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives program. We were not disappointed. It probably lives up to most of the hype. We visited on a Sunday morning when they start serving brunch at 9:00am. We arrived at just about the opening minute so... read more

My experience with St. Francis may be due to my own lack of planning when visiting there, but overall, I didn't think it was a great as I read about it being online. First, we made the mistake of going there for the first time on a Friday night, with no reservation. We had to wait for about an hour... More

If I ever go back to AZ on another trip I will be eating here. Great food! The service was good as well as the atmosphere. Had a nice urban feel to it that kinda made you want to sit for awhile and chat with your companions. Just a really great experience. This is a must if ever in the... More

We've been here about five times in the past year to two years. We went twice in the past week for Happy Hour. My review is for both of those recent visits. Happy Hour is every day until 6 pm. In general, the drinks about about half price ($5 for mixed signature drinks and $2 to $4 for beers) and... More

Went at lunch with my wife and sister. 2nd time there. Sat outside in wonderful Phoenix weather. Without the happy hour or dinner crowds. Split a Pig Dip and Fench Onion Burger between the three of us. With fries and Four Peaks brew, it was a perfect midday. Lunch maybe become my regular time to visit.

Got here without reservations on a weeknight and waited about 30 minutes, but worth it. One of the more unusual people watching places - every age group, every fashion style, and multiple languages represented. LOTS of noise from people talking, but we were able to have a couple's dinner and hear each other easily. We had a wonderful server (female... More

St Francis was the restaurant we landed at after running the Rock n Roll marathon. We arrived just as happy hour started, which ended up making it great value. I ordered the French onion burger, hand cut fries, and a local beer. Everything was delish. It was a beautiful day out so we decided to sit on the patio. The... More

Everything from the way the restaurant is decorated to the live music on a Sunday morning, this place is a nice change for breakfast. The olive oil pancake is a must try, even if its to share at the table.

On a busy lunch afternoon it was a wait for a table inside... or none for outside. We were happy to sit outside for we had come to Arizona for the warm weather (which it was not but the heat lamps made helped us to pretend). We were outside with a bunch of other tables but somehow we kept getting... More
