I stopped in to Thai Basil based on the reviews I found online and was overall pleased with my experience. I had the Chicken Phad Thai (medium spice) lunch special and it was a good deal but overall it lacked flavor and spice. It wasn't "spicy" but that was really the only flavor I could pick out of the dish.... More

The meals were both good ( green curry - very spicy! and cashew chicken). Service was very friendly and quick. This was right downtown so apparently they have more than one location. There did not seem to be very many restaurants downtown so this was a welcome find.

I love Thai food but this place though not horrible was not impressive either. The seafood in the Pad Thai was over cooked so as to be like shrimp chewing gum. The server/owner seem distracted most of the time when taking the order even though the restaurant was not busy. I would not return.

After dining in another Thai restaurant in Toronto, I thougt I would give my local restaurant props! The Red, Green and Yellow Curry Chicken are all awesome, and when I ask for "thai spicy", they hit the nail on the head! The food is on the higher end of the cost spectrum, but you get what you pay for, and... More

We took out a dinner from there last week. My favorites were the Pad Thai and the satay. Everything that we got was very good and reasonably priced. Will try again and eat there.

A lovely, small and intimate spot with great food! The service was casual and friendly. Save room for the deep fried bananas!

I really enjoyed the Thai basil dish and the sweet, sticky rice with custard. The food was served promptly, with very little wait. The location is very convenient.

This came up as under a different name in our GPS but nonetheless, it was fabulous and the best thai food in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. The service was excellent, the food was excellent and authentic. We got there at 6 and by the time we left it was quite busy. I asked for a coconut water (wasn't on the menu)... More

We ate here 2 nights in a row. Fast friends services in a great location. The meal prices were great too. Just plain awesome.

Maybe I am not a thai person but the simple shrimp fried rice that we had was overcook, no flavor just spicy, shrimp not really sauted, dry and steamed. Oh if you love fried calamari don't even give them a try, because they call calamari another thing not identified. None soft drinks just cans.
