Downtown Phoenix is not what I think of when I think of good food and that's OK. However, this restaurant and Arrogant Butcher are my go to spots when I'm in the area. What I like about District American Kitchen is they change the menu for lunch and for dinner. So if you don't want to leave the hotel, you... More

Restaurant is in the Sheraton hotel, good view of downtown. Both Cesear salad and seasonal Wild Harvest salad were too salty. Entrees tasted like they were prepared 2 days earlier then reheated in the microwave when ordered. Served with complimentary cotton candy. Dessert tasted stale. Coffee was stale. Hotel buffet food at best. Convenient location for a drink, eat somewhere... More

We visited the district for a nice quiet dinner for two. We both had the calamari appetizer and ribeye steak followed by the flourless chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse. Everything was absolutely fantastic! In addition, the staff was very attentive and we enjoyed watching Noah check on all the tables to make sure everybody was doing well. We will... More

Four friends and I had lunch here before going across the street to see a show at Herberger Theatre. The location is great and within easy walking distance to baseball games, basketball games, the Civic Center and other downtown attractions. It's also right across the street from Arizona Center so would be a good spot before/after a movie. They validate... More

Before the Cactus Bowl game, we had dinner at the District. The food was fine...that night they had a few discounted specials. It was the service that was awful. As they expected, the place was loaded. We had to wait for our main entree for almost 30 minutes, and at that, we had to ask our server where the food... More

We dined here nightly as we were in town on business, and every night Noah made sure we were taken care of, came by to say 'hello,' and generally was amazing with his attentiveness. The rest of his team was on top of it, and every meal we had there was great. Thanks Noah!

We have eaten at District American Kitchen twice in the last week with work partners that were staying at the Sheraton and both times the service was stellar!! The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Noah, the manager, stopped by our table on both nights we were there to check on everything and make sure our meals was satisfactory.... More

My team and I were in Phoenix for 5 day producing an event, and stayed at the Sheraton. While District is certainly convenient for anyone at the Sheraton, it's also got great food (and, I'm pretty selective about where I eat). In fact, it was so good that our team ate there every meal we had free at District. In... More

I specifically wanted to say that there are many restaurants that do not provide excellent customer service, but I have to say that Noah, the manager, outdid himself!! Late at night we wanted pancakes as that was the only thing that sounded good at the time... Although they were not serving pancakes at this time, Noah made it happen!! The... More
