The Sierra Bonita Grill is named after the historic Sierra Bonita Ranch in South Eastern Arizona. Founded by Henry Hooker in 1872, the Sierra Bonita Ranch was known for it’s hospitality and innovative ranching methods. We would like to celebrate the spirit represented by Mr. Hooker and other pioneer ranches throughout Arizona with our restaurant and hope to continue the tradition of great food and hospitality. Our menu reflects the hearty cooking style of Southern Arizona ranches, many of which were started by Spanish and Mexican families. We will continue to explore the ongoing Mexican and Latin influences on this area’s culture and food. Patio seating available to accommodate 30 people.

Straight up awesome

I had some doubts, as the restaurant is behind a bank and 100ft from a car repair service. If you fail to enter because of these reasons, you have made a serious mistake! This is a must eat establishment! The Marg's are straight up awesome! Mahi Mahi tacos are to die for!

This cozy place was teaming with energy even at lunchtime. The staff was very friendly and very fast. The beef stroganoff was absolutely outstanding. I really couldn't criticize this place if I had to. Will definitely make this a regular stop.

Met rriends there who live in the neighborhood and they always suggest this place. We like it too....a good menu with salads, appetizers, main courses and the like. Not too expensive and always good. Had the Carne Asada (small portion) this trip. Tasty with a side of guacamole, red beans and rice. Most dinners come in two sizes which by... More

The three of us each had different meals. The prime rib was crusted with a smokey edge cooked perfectly that melted in your mouth. This was said to be the best prime rib he had ever had. The Fish and Shrimp combination was too good not to finish the entire scrumptious bites. And of course my favorite even when it... More

We love this restaurant and have always had great food and service. The last time (xmas weekend) we went, we were a bit disappointed. The halibut was a bit dry and the fish tacos were over cooked (the fish in them, that is). For such a busy time, I understand that there can be mis-haps. We will still return, of... More

Found this by reading TA reviews, we were not disappointed in any way. Service, food and a nice cozy atmosphere made for a perfect evening. Very reasonably priced with very prompt and friendly service. Fish tacos were excellent, very spicy and flavorful. Definitely worth trying, you will not be disappointed at all.

My Husband is quite a foodie, and a darn good cook, so when we travel we are constantly challenged to find good, original restaurants. Open Table and Tripadvisor lead us to this warm, comfy restaurant with great food, unique flavors, and choice of Sangrias, which was exactly what I craved with a Tex-Mex dinner. The stacked enchiladas started with my... More

I had heard of their green chile pork posole before I ever got to Phoenix. I love posole so I was very pleased to find out it was as good as advertised. So was the green mac n cheese, which is also on the appetizer menu. Also tried the green chile pork entrée and the gelato trio for dessert. Everything... More

Good food with a New Mexico flair the menu here is excellent as is the food. If you like prime rib go on Friday night for some smoked prime rib that is fork tender. Also the buttermilk chicken is not to be missed or the osso bucco! It's all great!

4 of us went late on a Sunday evening. Waiters were patient and relaxed even though it was just 1/2 hour before closing. I had the ribs and they were the best ever. The meal was a highlight after days of hiking in the superstition mountains. Widely varied menu catered to everyone at our table . Fireplace kept the chill... More
