Description: The Sierra Bonita Grill is named after the historic Sierra Bonita Ranch in South Eastern Arizona. Founded by Henry Hooker in 1872, the Sierra Bonita Ranch was known for it’s hospitality and innovative ranching methods. We would like to celebrate the spirit represented by Mr. Hooker and other pioneer ranches throughout Arizona with our restaurant and hope to continue the tradition of great food and hospitality. Our menu reflects the hearty cooking style of Southern Arizona ranches, many of which were started by Spanish and Mexican families. We will continue to explore the ongoing Mexican and Latin influences on this area’s culture and food. Patio seating available to accommodate 30 people.

I was visiting Phoenix from NY and was looking for a great affordable lunch venue. Sierra Bonita didn't disappoint. Our waiter was very attentive and walked us through the menu and made recommendations. We followed his recommendations and were very pleased we had the Buttermilk Chicken and the Steak dishes and were quite pleased. The salads were also very good,... More

We ate at the Sierra Bonita Grill as our last night out in Phoenix. We had such a pleasant meal and the food was really good! First of all, the food is tasty, We started with the Pork Tamale and Hoppers Poppers, which are four jalapenos, blend of four cheeses. We had the Carne Asada and the Smoked Chili Pork Roast,... More

Come figure out what all of the neighbors have been raving about. Sierra Bonita is a mall, locally owned restaurant where the food is always delicious. You can pick from a Southwestern Carne Asada complete with the best beans and rice on the side, to a burger, fresh fish or a signature salad. Don't miss the guacamole and salsa either.... More

This restaurant is consistently very good. I had the green chili pork roast with pinto beans and rice. We shared guacamole with three salsas. Everything is fresh made and delicious. My friend had the Southwest Caesar Salad, she almost liked the bowl clean. My other friend had a hamburger, which she said was wonderful. We shared the chocolate soufflé with... More

Just recently my husband and I went for dinner. We went early (before 6pm) and were seated quickly. In reading the menu, I found it creative and appealing. I heartily enjoyed my entree and vowed to return. Today we took my parents for an early brunch (10am). The presentation of meals was beautiful and I was not disappointed. I loved... More

We had a very enjoyable evening at Sierra Bonita Grill. The dishes were excellently prepared, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Service was very good but could be somewhat inattentive at times. The menu is quite unique with a nice blend of options. Parking is a bit sparse and reservations are highly recommended. Although it doesn't look impressive from the outside, the... More

I first ate here with a couple of my co-workers during a business lunch, and have been back several times for lunch as well as a going away dinner for one of our office staff. The decor is Western/cowboy themed with a number of pencil drawings and other artwork on the walls. They have rooms in the basement for private... More

We went for a Sunday Brunch and perhaps that was our mistake. The restaurant was fairly busy and the male server we had simply was not at all attentive. I really wanted to give this place 4 or 5 stars...but that's how poor the service was. Not sure we will go back because Richardson's is closer to us and we... More

I have eaten at the grill many times over the years and have always had great service and wonderful food. The menu is varied and not overwhelming. Portions are a good size too. You'd never expect such quality from a little place hidden behind a gas station on the corner. do yourself a favor and eat there.
