The Sierra Bonita Grill is named after the historic Sierra Bonita Ranch in South Eastern Arizona. Founded by Henry Hooker in 1872, the Sierra Bonita Ranch was known for it’s hospitality and innovative ranching methods. We would like to celebrate the spirit represented by Mr. Hooker and other pioneer ranches throughout Arizona with our restaurant and hope to continue the tradition of great food and hospitality. Our menu reflects the hearty cooking style of Southern Arizona ranches, many of which were started by Spanish and Mexican families. We will continue to explore the ongoing Mexican and Latin influences on this area’s culture and food. Patio seating available to accommodate 30 people.

Best drink and best food

The Eye for a Rye is absolutely one of the best cocktails ever; order it straight up. The menu is limited, but the specials, as well as the daily menu are superb. Try the fish tacos.

On a "Get out of winter" trip, we had read about the Sierra Bonita Grill before arriving in Pheonix & wanted to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Great service, atmosphere, margaritas, fish tacos, & queso. When we return to Pheonix, Sierra Bonita will be a mandatory destination.

If you're in the Phoenix area and want to try some local Southwestern cuisine, you can't really go wrong with Sierra Bonita. For cocktails, I recommend their Mojitos. Really excellent. For the food? Well, I had the fish tacos, and they were yummy. Would definitely go there again. Oh, and the service was warm and friendly.

The food and service at Sierra Bonita Grill were both top notch. The lunch tacos were tasty, and the number of tacos served, even though each was small, filled us. Our server couldn't have been nicer, not more efficient. Sierra Bonita Grill will be a place we return to frequently when we are in the area.

Wonderful dinner (Salmon, Red Chile Pork), friendly service, rustic ambiance, parking a little tight (use valet!). The restaurant was packed this evening, something I would expect each night. Excellent fare!

Wide variety of breakfast / brunch options on the weekend menu - many are creative takes on the usual items (such as eggs benedict with chipotle hollandaise sauce or huevos rancheros). The offer a huge cinnamon roll topped with white icing - grilled. Looked great but would need a group to share it or you'd die of sugar overload. Loved... More

Good Mexican fare. Nothing special. Ate by myself at the bar traveling on business and watched college football championship game. Not very crowded or exciting. Trip Advisor rated it one of the top 20 restaurants in Phoenix. Maybe I caught it on an off night (it was a Monday). Service was excellent. Bartender/server seemed to engage more with the locals.... Excellent food, staff is very friendly, has a wonderful atmosphere. Small sitting area outside with a fireplace. A little on the expensive side, but worth it.

We had our holiday luncheon here today and I really enjoyed it. We had 1 of the rooms downstairs and the waitress was wonderful. I had the enchilada stacks that were really tasty. The Carne as ads look yummy and the steak and shrimp looked really good. Can't wait to go back and try something. The guacamole was wonderful. Great... More
