Poised 1,800 feet above the Valley of the Sun, Different Pointe of View offers guests breathtaking views second only to the outstanding regional American cuisine that features fresh local and organic ingredients. The restaurant's mountaintop location and floor to ceiling windows provide stunning views of the desert landscape, the city's twinkling lights in the distance and Arizona's brilliant sunsets. No restaurant in the state has a longer streak of consecutive AAA four-diamond awards and Sunset Magazine named it one of the top 10 mountaintop restaurants in the nation. Valley residents have come for years to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, romantic evenings or just treat themselves to one of the most unique Arizona experiences. The Terrace Room Lounge, next to the restaurant, features one of the largest patios and a nine foot fire pit on the cliff side

A must for anyone in the area

Great food and the view was amazing! Everything is a la carte but they had a special where you can order one item from the first page and a main entree and then dessert for $40. Well worth it just for the experience. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly!

Went after sunset, so the view was of the lights of Phoenix and the mountains in the area. It was beautiful! We went for a nice date night and sat outside. There wasn't too many people and we were able to enjoy our dessert in relative solitude and just enjoy the views. As for the food, we had the strawberry... More

Dined in here as part of a big group on expenses. Food is very good, but expensive. The decor is dark wood panelling, on a par with some of the Ruth's Chris type places

Call ahead to get reservations and enjoy a unique dining experience. Incredible view of downtown Phoenix. The pre fix meal offering is a great deal. Entrees always delicious. Have dined here twice in the last three months and the service is always terrific too. Great place for date night.

What you are paying for in this restaurant is the real estate, not the food. The food was good, but it was pricey, and at those prices, I want full on gourmet. It was a bit less than that. Service, however was impeccable. The wine list was good. And the view, ah the view. This restaurant looks over Phoenix at... More

This has become our "go to" place for taking out of town visitors. The view from the top of the Cliffs is awesome....especially at Happy Hour time which coincides with sunset time. A very nice place to go for drinks on the patio and then inside for an awesome dinner. The only caveat is....CALL AHEAD. For some reason, this establishment... More

I absolutely love this place, great hideout spot on the hill with amazing views of the city and south mountain. The hotel even seem nice and maybe 1 day I will check out but the restaurant is on the 4th floor and let me tell you amazing. Valet was free and very courterous, Our waiter was Darrin and he was... If you are going out for dinner for a view, this is the place to go. If you are going to dinner to enjoy fine dining at a place that claims they are fine dining, this is definitely not the place to go. The food is horrible and the service sucks. We used to come to this restaurant when it... More

This is a special occasion restaurant. The service is friendly, but very professional. The price-value relationship is high, but this is not an inexpensive place to eat. They are running a summer deal for a 3-course dinner for $39.99 that could be a great value, depending on the specific options offered. All the food is exquisitely arranged on beautiful platters...
