Description: Poised 1,800 feet above the Valley of the Sun, Different Pointe of View offers guests breathtaking views second only to the outstanding regional American cuisine that features fresh local and organic ingredients. The restaurant's mountaintop location and floor to ceiling windows provide stunning views of the desert landscape, the city's twinkling lights in the distance and Arizona's brilliant sunsets. No restaurant in the state has a longer streak of consecutive AAA four-diamond awards and Sunset Magazine named it one of the top 10 mountaintop restaurants in the nation. Valley residents have come for years to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, romantic evenings or just treat themselves to one of the most unique Arizona experiences. The Terrace Room Lounge, next to the restaurant, features one of the largest patios and a nine foot fire pit on the cliff side

Hosted a business dinner at this spectacular restaurant, for 10. There is a beautiful view of the valley below, a great bar and lounge area with outdoor seating, fire pits etc., Staff, even though last call was inviting and friendly and no rush. There is a great wine menu, excellent selection of dishes and desserts. The Pork Belly app was... More

Sitting outside to watch the sunset was special. Service was good. The appetizers plus drinks were just right for the four of us(however - 3 shrimps for 4 people doesn't make sense.). The cheese plate was very nice. Would go back and try the main dining room.

With a stunning view overlooking the city and impeccable service, this restaurant is hard to beat. Having studied culinary arts and restaurant management, along with almost a decade in the business, it was easy to see that this is one of the best run places around. Not only do you have an all knowing server, an entire team is waiting... More

We had heard about the restaurant from our booking agent and we made sure to get to the restaurant before sunset - it was breath-taking on the patio before dinner and then the lights of Phoenix after dark were spectacular. The food was very good and we were treated to a waiter (Ian) who really knew his stuff and made... More

Travel the globe and this is one of the best restaurants I have found in terms of the people, food and the view. Sitting outside in the evening in November around 70F with a light breeze, perfect.

A bit hard to get into though due to the numerous weddings/events the resorts hosts. Ask for a table outside for the outdoor experience. But the tables inside have great views as well. Lounge is not always available due to closure for the many events again. Ask if you want that experience as well.

Meal, service, view was 5 star. Chef met us twice, once in the afternoon, explained his view on cooking etc. Then as we were seated, we had the tasting menu. He cooked foods we would like. Everything about the evening was first class in the restaurant. Would try to go when you could eat outside for the view.

We went for drinks and hors d'oeuvres at 5:00. It was perfect timing. We had no problem getting a table. The menu is great but expensive. The service was not as good as it should have been for the price. The view was spectacular!

The Different Point of View is a wonderful restaurant for fine food, an outstanding scenic view and great service. We booked at the last minute and was able to get a 9:00 PM table. The staff was very attentive, the menus was very diversified and well conceived. The plate presentations were very well done and creative. The chef is excellent... More

This Restaurant is truly an experience...! The views are incredible and the weather was perfect in early October to enjoy the outside seating or inside at the windows. Our server, Cory, was knowledgeable, professional and polished... He lead us through the ordering process making sure we choose the best items for our tastes. Chef Anthony is known for his preference... More
