Description: Poised 1,800 feet above the Valley of the Sun, Different Pointe of View offers guests breathtaking views second only to the outstanding regional American cuisine that features fresh local and organic ingredients. The restaurant's mountaintop location and floor to ceiling windows provide stunning views of the desert landscape, the city's twinkling lights in the distance and Arizona's brilliant sunsets. No restaurant in the state has a longer streak of consecutive AAA four-diamond awards and Sunset Magazine named it one of the top 10 mountaintop restaurants in the nation. Valley residents have come for years to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, romantic evenings or just treat themselves to one of the most unique Arizona experiences. The Terrace Room Lounge, next to the restaurant, features one of the largest patios and a nine foot fire pit on the cliff side

Hotel restaurant.... Overpriced for mediocre food and terrible service; right? WRONG!! We had gotten out and about while in Phoenix but finally decided to stay local and went to the Pointe which is on the top of the hill from the resort we stayed at The Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort. We walked from our room, not for the faint... More

If you like to enjoy an amazing sunset sitting out by a fire in a comfortable chair with a server bringing you a flavorful cocktail then this is the place for you. DPOV is a bit tricky to find but its totally worth the effort. Go for a drink & tapas on the patio or sit in the dining room... More

We were celebrating two birthdays and Different Pointe of View delivered in spades! The staff, from the manager, to the server, to the sommelier, to Chef Anthony, is stellar...simply stellar. Chef greeted us and asked if there were any food allergies or dislikes and we welcomed him to just surprise us...which is definitely the way to go! The sommelier had... More

First off there is really no restaurant in Phoenix that can match the view. The outdoor patio and fire pit are amazing and the food matched. Overall very happy with the meal, and would highly recommend

took in the Thanksgiving Day Brunch. We had an awesome table looking south over the valley. Great views! The food was superb. Maybe the best prime rib at any brunch we've attended. Shrimp, snow crab claws were good and plentiful. Service was impeccable. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and time at the Pointe.

Hosted a business dinner at this spectacular restaurant, for 10. There is a beautiful view of the valley below, a great bar and lounge area with outdoor seating, fire pits etc., Staff, even though last call was inviting and friendly and no rush. There is a great wine menu, excellent selection of dishes and desserts. The Pork Belly app was... More

Sitting outside to watch the sunset was special. Service was good. The appetizers plus drinks were just right for the four of us(however - 3 shrimps for 4 people doesn't make sense.). The cheese plate was very nice. Would go back and try the main dining room.

With a stunning view overlooking the city and impeccable service, this restaurant is hard to beat. Having studied culinary arts and restaurant management, along with almost a decade in the business, it was easy to see that this is one of the best run places around. Not only do you have an all knowing server, an entire team is waiting... More
