If you want good BBQ, this is the place.

We read the reviews and chose to ignore them, relying on word of mouth at the Hilton where we were staying nearby. We actually at here twice as a result. We had the pork sandwich, pork ribs, okra, and mac n cheese. As a pork BBQ fan, I really enjoyed the sandwich both times I ate it. The okra is... read more

This place is nothing less then a bad joke!! We ordered out, when we got it home & opened our containers.....My corn on the cob spoiled and the chicken was horrifying to say the least, I called to talk a manager and got the owner.....bigger joke!!!! He handed the phone to someone who was rude & incompetent . Never never... More

Excellent ribs & pulled pork, with variety of sides. Had perfectly fried ochre, but mac & cheese was ok to good. Tiny place beside the highway, I mean, tiny. Not a real friendly bunch, but I was there for food, not friendship. No liquor, and a beer would've been nice. Takeout available. Clean place with simple decor which works.

Like many of us, I’ve become a slave to the TLC culinary phenomenon. I get a kick out of shows like Chopped, Hell’s Kitchen, etc. so when I saw that one of the top 10 BBQ places was in my backyard, I headed right over. Stacy’s Pit Stop BBQ defines the hole in the wall/hidden gem ideal perfectly. Both my... More

Ordered the ribs from the truck in Munds Park last Saturday. Worker ranted and raved on the ribs. Said they were rated 4th in Nation so my husband wanted to try them. For $25 (ribs ONLY) expected them to be outstanding. They were everything but. Very poor quality, lots of fat and grissle, not cooked through. Couldn't get the meat... More

Stacy's used to be a great BBQ place. Then they expanded and got in over their head in Scottsdale. That restaurant closed and this one is on life support (web page and phone gone). Hopefully if you read this in the summer, they will have made it back but only time will tell. We have see this happen to other... More

I discovered this place on a trip to Phoenix a few years ago. I have been back a few times and have recommended it to others. I was looking forward to going back and looked a few reviews and saw that many others indicated that it had gone down hill. I ignored the negative reviews .... big mistake. Service: It... More

Terrible food. The beef ribs were super salty, and they cost $5.50 PER RIB now. Their new menu doesn't even have a price for beef ribs, it says "Market Price," so the sky's the limit on how much Stacy can charge for them. And they only accept cash, no credit cards, so bring plenty of $$$. The ribs were not... More

We first learned of Stacy's after it was named by Bon Appetit magazine in 2009 as one of the top 10 BBQ joints in the country. Until recently we went to the original location in the purple building on Indian School. They now have a new location on Shea Blvd. just west of Scottsdale Rd. (the old KFC building). We're... More
