We have eaten here a few times recently at lunch time. The service has always been good, even when they are busy. We have tried several of the salads and sandwiches and have been very pleased with all of them. The staff is always very friendly. Great place for a quick, quality lunch.

This is a neighborhood restaurant, with uniformly good food, daily specials, great, friendly service and management, and nice surroundings. The staff are all excellent, they work together to take care of you, none of that "I'll get your server" nonsense you find in some places. Gabby is my favorite but none of them are lemons! The place is great for... More

Probably one of the more affordable breakfast joints in the area. Smokes First Watch. A classic, unpretentious cafe with a wide variety of menu items to please everyone. Very good prices. I like the Southwest Omelet or the pancakes.

The 5th Avenue Cafe has been in this neighborhood for decades. It continues to provide fast service and good home cooking. The menu is extensive and they'll cook to your order. Have it your way at lunch and get back to work on time!

A "find" of which I was unaware. Good breakfasts and a very busy spot, which is testament to its food. Well-priced and sizeable so can go on a weekend day for breakfast and not have a long wait.

Finally, a good restaurant within walking distance from our home. Excellent breakfast at reasonable prices. It has been completely redone and is well worth the visit. Their hash browns are some of the best that I have had and the eggs are done to perfection. Over all very good!

While our daughter was a patient at St. Josephs Hospital (across the street) we had at least three meals at the 5th Ave. Cafe. Food and service was excellent. I decided to have breakfast at lunch time one day and was served the finest hash browns I had ever eaten. I would highly recommend 5th Ave Cafe.

We were told 5th Avenue Cafe’s interior and menu had been completely revamped recently: the crowds tell you they hit the mark. The $6.95 “Veggie Cowboy” my husband had (3 eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, tomato, onion, green pepper, and spinach scrambled together in a skillet and served with toast or tortilla) was stupendous. I had the pick-up (not open-faced) Reuben... More

Good place for a decent breakfast at a reasonable price. Can get very busy if you don't get there early on the weekends. Only open from 7am till 2pm now

Another favorite breakfast spot. Kind of like a whole in the wall diner that not too many know about.
