Most people will only need to order the single serving as it comes with 4 large pieces of cod fried just right - not greasy. The cole slaw is creamy, not vinegar. A choice of potato with baked after 3pm. The desserts are very good if you have room.

Went in for breakfast, ordered an omelet with mushrooms and onion, eggs weren't overcooked, but the mushrooms were nice and thick sliced and instead of sautéing, the cook dropped them in the deep fryer, causing them to absorb the fryer oil, and taste like really oily old French fries. Not a pleasant experience with the mushrooms at all, the rest... More

This is a good place to visit. The food is average and the price is good. Good portions for the price. Would visit again.

The food is good, the service is good, the prices are terrific. What's not to like. The breakfast menu has Mexican items and they are very good as well. A word of advise, use the hot sause sparingly it is much hotter than Tobasco. No gourmet here but lots of good eating.

We have been to the Peoria Cafe many times during the past two years and it is one of our favorites because of good quality, prices and service.

I decided to eat here randomly one day, and was not disappointed. The service was great, the staff was helpful, and the food was delicious! The portions were rather large, so it was a good deal for the price. I will definitely go back.

During our last visit, we are sad that it looks nicer on the outside, thankfully the prices are the same, but the service seems not the same. Still a good breakfast out, but we miss the extras that the staff did to make us feel at home.

Typical small cafe with all the usual menu items. Nothing spectacular here. The service was not fast by any means and the locals seemed not to eat here.

My wife and I have eaten here several times and the food is good. They have many daily specials at good prices. My favorite is their fish on Fridays. The prices and portions are very good. We enjoy getting it to go. The fish, fries, cole slaw are very good and tasty.

Visiting for Spring Training, My Wife and I try the Cafe. Real busy Friday night. Waiting a good 45 min. to get seated. Now I'm thinking this place must really be good. Got seated but it took another 15 min. before anybody came to take our order. I requested the fish fry with american fries. 20 min. later fish arrives... More
