Good on the Westside

Ok it is good that the better restaurants are heading to the " westside" of Phoenix. It's nice to have a drink and good meal w/o the worry of a long drive home. The drinks and especially the wine selection are extremely good. The menu was diverse with many options from steak to seafood and my... read more

We went to celebrate our anniversary. The menu was extensive and although pricey, we expected that. We both chose the special season special and were not disappointed. It was one price and included a fabulous soup, 6 ounce beef tenderloin (cooked perfectly medium rare), 2 small lobster tails with crab over the top, grilled squash and an amazing pumpkin cheesecake... We were staying at the wig wam so our choices were limited. We originally had reservations at capital grille but found out it was about 45 minutes away. We thought we would try Flemings steak house. If the prices were more reasonable would have given it a 4 star but we spent as much as would at capital grille and... More

We ordered seabass...They forgot the potatoes, fish was very moist, tasted very fishy. They forgot the "crispy" potatoes, brought those out later: They tasted like old grease cold, funny looking strips of poatoes. We only tasted one of those, did not eat the rest. For this dissatisfaction we were awarded one desert: Lava cake, it tasted great. Service was great. The... More

Yes, this place is hard to beat as far as the food quality goes. Two of us had the pork chops and they were great. One of us had fish and it was very good also. The service was just OK. We had to flag her down a couple of times to get her to come to our table (Terry).... More

For a supposedly a finer dining place the servers as well as the bartenders show lack of knowledge or basically caring about anything but how much they're being tipped and disgusted that in front of us amongst each other. I do understand that is what they're working for but like I said above lack of professionalism.

Very average steak house. Overpriced for sides/salads/apps. Steak prices as expected. All 3 of us asked for our $11 wedge salad to be chopped and I'm confident they split them and still charged us $11 each. Waitstaff indifferent. Cold coffee served repeatedly. Steaks themselves were excellent and met expectation, but nothing special compared to other steakhouses at their price level.... More

I had always wanted to eat at Flemings in Birmingham Al but just hadn't gotten around to it and we were out in Phoenix looking for somewhere to have dinner and we came up on this one in Peoria. The food was great. It was a little loud, but there were several large groups in there.
