This restaurant is like eating in Grandma's kitchen...homey and the food is superb plus huge portions. Everything we've ever ordered we've enjoyed. In fact, after rereading some of the other reviews we're hungry and we're going to head over for an early lunch!

Sandy's Restaurant and RV Park is located on SR181, the road that takes hikers into Saulberry Canyon in the Chiricahuas. I had always wanted to try this place but it was usually closed after we'd get done with a hike. It's a breakfast-lunch open-floor diner with a counter but no bar. Seating looks to be around 60. Yesterday we had... More

I'm only rating the RV park piece, we didn't eat here. I stopped in to find a place to stay while we hiked the Chiricahua Mountains. We were greeted by friendly folks who took us around through the kitchen out the back door to the parking spots. After seeing the kitchen, I'm not sure I'd want to eat here but... More

Selection is great. Food is great. Owner's and staff very attentive and friendly. My two favorites are the huge breakfast burrito and the pulled pork sandwich plate. My wife loves the omelets and the very substantial meat lovers breakfast.

Inexpensive, yummy food, and lots of it. All the locals eat here. Family run restaurant. They serve your typical breakfasts, hamburgers, sandwiches, soups and salads. Homemade baked goods and pies too. The service is excellent. Pulled pork salad is perfect.

Just returned from driving to Sandy's for lunch (an 80 mile round trip). So guess you could call us locals. It was worth every penny. This is a restaurant - basically - out "in the country." I've been told that this is a family-owned and operated restaurant, and it is obvious they really do appreciate your business. Friendly service and... More

Omelets, club sandwiches, burgers are all excellent. I like the option of something other than fries offered with sandwiches. Friendly folks and fast service at reasonable prices.

Locals told us to be sure and eat breakfast at Sandy's and they were right! Located at the junction of US 191 and SR 181 (between Willcox and Douglas, AZ; the junction of US 191 and SR 181 is one of the turnoffs to Chiricahua Nat'l Park). Don't miss it because it sits back a bit from US 191 on... More

This restaurant may be out in the middle of nowhere sitting in the midst of golden grasses and huge blue skies, but it won't disappoint. The food is abundant and delicious. The staff is pleasant and cheerful and you will have a great time.
