A tasty breakfast in a relaxed setting!

A nice & simple place to have a good breakfast. Service was quick & friendly. We definitely enjoyed their pies, with my wife having peach and my choice being a slice of blackberry. Both flavors were quite delicious! Since we had our pies à la mode, I would have preferred a scoop of real ice... read more

I have been eating here for 40 yrs and it just keeps getting better. It is now the grandhildren of the original owners who run the restaurant. They take cash only or local checks. The food has that home cooked quality and always delicious. They also make the best pies in town!Price is very reasonable and the service excellent

We enjoyed our lunch, very reasonably priced and service was good. The only bad thing was that they do not accept Credit/debit cards. They did have an ATM machine but then you are looking at $5 in withdrawl fees.

We had the best time at the Friday fish night at the Beeline. Most of the fun was brought by our server Linda. My hubby loved the fried fish and my grilled cod was very tasty too. This was our first dinner visit. We love to have breakfast here. But the dinner was very reasonable and allowing me to sub... More

I stop in each time when passing through Payson. The food is always served quickly and the place is busy most of the time. Pie is also very good. It's a small place, with a dated interior, but that is part of the charm of this place. I usually sit at the breakfast bar to avoid any type of wait... More

Stopped with family on way to Tonto Natural Bridge. Though we could avoid the rush by coming at 10:30am on a weekday. We were wrong. Place was filled, but wait was fairly short (5-10 min). Place only takes cash or check, so be sure to hit the ATM before you get here. Food was ok; not as spectacular as some... More

Local get away day; In Payson during lunch and chose based on full lot at the old fashioned café. Not disappointed. Standard café menu yet did also offer black bean burger for the vegetarian in me. Sister had the day special ham n bean soup. She raved about how tasty and surprised by the amount of ham chunks. reminiscent of... More

Stopped by here for lunch with our 3 kids and would definitely come back. Two of our party had the burrito specials, two had gigantic burgers and one had a BLT. Positive reviews for all. Chocolate pie. Rhubarb with ice cream and apple pie with ice cream finished off a fulfilling lunch. Service was quick and efficient

My boys and I stopped in for an early dinner. First time visit. My 10 yr old remarked it was fun to be at a restaurant "with history." We sat at the counter on the stools (kids like this kind of stuff!). We ordered one of the weekly rib specials. The ribs were very tender and the plate of food... More
