Better go hungry when you go! The portions are huge, but the prices are not - and this is a down home diner just like you grandma used to make breakfast!! You will not leave hungry, and it is so popular, there most likely will be a wait - but well worth it! Great food, and great service!!!

Wow this place did not disappoint. Very friendly and great service. I loved the authentic mom n pop place, we were surrounded by locals who were also friendly. We had the hot beef, hot turkey, and Philly cheese steak all were amazing! The best was the PIE! Today the special was lemon cream cheese-so tasty! We also had rhubarb which... More

Im a huge hole in the wall junkie...i prefer small mom nd pops establishments for the freshness of the food and the service this place was as expected.. yummy...its Shabby if you will as far as the establishment is concerned but the food is great. I would definately return here whenever going thru Payson.

Mom and Pop kinda cafe. Service was very friendly even though the place was packed and they must have been stressed. Also was pleasantly surprised to see they have a veggie burger on the menu. It was delicious and very affordable.

A local favorite and for good reason! Real and genuine people work here likely the owners are too because what else would keep these in such a pleasant frame of mind? The food is real and genuine also, we had a late breakfast or early lunch and the place was full and noisy - good noise, the sound of friendship... More

Neat little cafe with excellent service and great food. Very reasonably priced both ate for $25 including tip. I had fried chicken mashed potatoes and green beans all super good. Homemade clam chowder also yummy! Husband had a burger really tasty. Best was the cherry crisp! Warm with ice cream, tasty! Fun cafe with locals at most of the tables.... More

The specials were great, inexpensive and catered to local fare. This family has been running this café since 1967 and has the whole scoop on local views, real estate, and things to see and do. The café was small, inexpensive, clean and all the service was great. Again, this is a great place for families.

Come on in and enjoy a large plate of comfort food and mountain hospitality. Be you local or visitors you will fill your body with good fun served by friendly people. The place oozes with local characters and if the walls could speak you could write many books on the personalties who have enjoyed a warm meal in this establishment.
