We eat here at least twice a week. The atmosphere is homey and the family that runs the place are delightful! The food is consistently fresh, plentiful and delicious. They offer daily specials, truly decadent homemade cinnamon rolls and their pies are some of the best in town. My friend and I can have a great meal for under $20.... More

This trip I had the pulled pork sandwich and potato salad. It was spectacular, a sweet BBQ sauce, like a molasses or brown sugar sauce, not so big that it stuffs you whole but well enough to satisfy. On the board, they list the days' pies. We asked what the Amish Buttermilk Pie was. Well, after a brief description, we... More

I drove past this café when I first saw it. It is run down, dated, and the paint faded. But there is a good reason that the parking lot is filled to the gills! Greeted by one of two pregnant servers (must be something in the water here), we were immediately seated in a booth. Service was EXCELLENT! The menu... More

We make it a point to have breakfast here each time we're in Payson. Most recently, we had the eggs, bacon, hash browns, with side of biscuit and gravy. Aside from the gravy being a little on the cold side, everything was delicious. We topped it off with what we considered "dessert" - a couple of pumpkin pecan pancakes. Delicious!... More

This is a small place reminiscing of old times gone by. The staff is super, super friendly and accommodating. The best experience is sitting on one of those round stools at the bar. The coffee is good, and the breakfast is exactly what your mom would make. Do not miss out.

I LOVE food and I'm a pretty big food snob, especially when it comes to breakfast. This place is fantastic! Great portion size and every bite was delicious!! French toast was perfect as was the steak omelet!

Eggs Benedict with house-made Hollandaise, Biscuits with Sausage Gravy and Country Fried Steak, is what we had. June takes great care of every table in the place and Diane (owner) cooks in the back. Good option in the Payson area for a fulfilling breakfast. Old, side-of-the-road style diner. Worth the stop.

We stopped here after talking with a couple of people from Phoenix who come here every weekend. I must have ordered the wrong thing, a Ruben sandwich. It was okay, but the sauerkraut was the strangest I have ever seen or eaten. I really don't know what it was, but it had an odd taste. There was a large chunk... More

Very good breakfast - my husband and I shared the vegetable omelette. It was excellent. They split the meal for us which we really appreciated? The coffee was not great - pretty weak.
