The outdoor setting of this restaurant is beautiful! Great view of the mountain, fountain on the patio. Cocktails were fine, and the snacks were delicious! The deep fried lobster appetizer is a splurge, but with it!

My friend took me there when I was visiting from back east. Food & wine was lovely. Recommend sitting outside. Waiter was really friendly too.

We had the Lobster Appetizer which was very good, this is a very expensive restaurant with all items ala carte. We had a $70 bottle of wine and dinner for 4 with tip was $425. The entree's were good, but with the menu being ala carte the meals were not worth the money.

Needless to say the setting is exquisite. Even our server was quite good. Now we come to the food; it was mediocre that it is hard to find the words to describe the experience. I ordered the pork tenderloin, with prosciutto ham ,not only was it tasteless, but the pork had a very strong taste to it. My wife and... More

El Chorro Was one of my favorite places. No more. Beautiful patio but our table for 6 was really tiny. There was no place for legs under the table. It was one of the most uncomfortable dinners I've experienced. Sarah our waitress certainly didn't provide any added value. She was pretty bad. Never once asked how our dinners were. More... More

My husband and I dined at El Chorro based upon two separate recommendations from friends. The food was fantastic and sitting outside was simply beautiful! My husband had a 9oz Filet Mignon and I had Pork Tenderloin. We also had Pepper Pot Shrimp and Truffle Fries. Our waiter was wonderful and helpful with menu selections! Prior to dinner we had... My family and I dined at El Chorro to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Were a bit behind for our dinner reservation but my parents arrived and they were sat at our table so they could order a drink and wait for us which was very much appreciated. Thank you. We arrived 10 minutes after. Our waiter that night did not... More

With Camelback Mountain in the distance and dark skies dotted with stars, you find this enchanted garden setting lovely for a romantic dinner. This historic haunt of yesteryear where John Wayne and Robert Mitchum tipped a few, El Chorro has been updated for today's upscale dining experience both indoors and out. The menu is relatively standard, nothing radical or highly... More

El Charro has been an iconic Paradise Valley, AZ restaurant for decades. Perfectly prepared dishes was a big part of what made it a go-to spot to take out-of-town guests as far back as I can remember (which is the 70's). Its charming outdoor patio, classic southwest architecture and convenient location make it ideal for a casual evening with friends.... More
