Friends, who claim El Chorro as their favorite restaurant in all the greater Phoenix area, reserved a table outdoors in front of a fireplace-a perfect setting in this large restaurant with many interesting spaces. Our savvy waiter walked us through the excellent menu and helped us choose a delightful bottle of wine. My lamb chops were superb, and my husband's... More

I even met the owners who felt bad that I was sitting alone in the dining room. They suggested that I sit outside to enjoy the views and I did! Their cinnamon buns are delicious and the rack of lamb dish was phenomenal. I'd go back there again!

As local, the Scottsdale are offers many great dining options. When guests arrive we try to limit the choices to those restaurants that are at the top of our list. El Chorro has become our Number 1 choice. The food is always excellent, from the seasonal menu to the daily specials. Then. when the weather is right, there is not... More

Visited El Chorro on Sunday night. Great ambiance, beautiful patio seating. Our server, Vickie was stellar, attentive but not overbearing. Wine list, though small, was more than adequate with numerous fairly priced selections. Appetizers were delicious & large (good for sharing). Entrees were wonderful. No room for dessert! We will return.

Enjoyed elegant outdoor dinner with great view of Camelback Mt & AZ night sky. Food was good, service efficient, but best part is elegant outdoor setting with evening sunset. Recommend for view & ambiance.

went to El Chorro this week with a group. We sat outside on a wonderful night with a great view of Camelback Mountain. We have been there a few times before and always enjoyed so I will chalk this up as a bad night. The place was very busy as this is spring time but even with that the service... More

Chorro is one of the oldest restaurants in Paradise Valley. The food has been up and down over the years. New management has again restored Chorro to a fine dining experience. Do not expect food from south of the border, as the name may imply. We had international cuisine of the highest quality. We had Trout, in Arizona of all... More

Second time dining here. First time was unremarkable, several years ago, dining inside where it was very dark. This time we dined on the patio, which was splendid. Romantic. Perfectly delightful. Exceptional food was a plus. Filet was tender, chicken well seasoned. Interesting salad concept with tortilla strips. Service was attentive and pleasant.

There for an enchanted evening with out of town guests. Service and food was great but the view of camelback mountain and the evening stars made for special memories.

A must for anyone visiting Phoenix for its relaxing scenic environment, which you never want to leave. Fantastic brunch on Sunday, and the best ever on EASTER. Coctails served in an open-air bar. One our favorites! Fits well into the Paradise Valley beauty.
