Great patio setting, food was good, but pricey.

If it isn't 100 degrees out then you should sit on the patio. It is beautiful. I have been here for both brunch and dinner. I found it to be rather pricey at $420 for 4 people. Maybe we should drink less. My pork tenderloin was excellent. I would go back for brunch. Sticky buns are the best.

El Chorro should translate to 'the jewel' (la Jolla), as this place feels like an old friend. we saw it was open again and that they had a Ramos Fizz advertised. Very few places offer or know how to make one. They excelled. The food was excellent, the choices well thought out. Service was professional and friendly. Everyone was having... More

Traditional, newly updated, fun decor. Been here about 10 times. Cannot beat the central location and address. The gardens and entrance much improved. Best place to meet and greet famous locals. But the food still a little off sometimes. Nonetheless, one of the few places in the valley to get not just great meats, but beef bourguignone. You don't see... More

Love this old school staple! It's been remodeled and it's gorgeous. The views of Camelback Mountain are so beautiful! We went for brunch and it was so yummy! Love this restaurant, we will be back again. It was also right by our Resort: The Omni at Montelucia which was nice and convenient. Awesome restaurant!

We eat here serveral times a year and always enjoy it. That's the reason we return. Our experience Sat. evening, while dining with friends, was not typical. Our server was unfriendly from the time we were seated until we left. All 4 of us felt as if we were putting her out each time she came to the table. The food... More

Had a wonderful Sunday brunch on the Patio. Food was delicious, plenty to eat and the basket of rolls was to die for.

The food and service were great and so was the scenery around the place. We were served several types of meat and fish, all of which were great. Before the dinner started, cheeses and dips were serves, which were also excellent.

The outdoor setting of this restaurant is beautiful! Great view of the mountain, fountain on the patio. Cocktails were fine, and the snacks were delicious! The deep fried lobster appetizer is a splurge, but with it!
