Quality has been slipping

Dragon Village used to be our spot for Chinese food. The food WAS delicious and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, something seems to have changed. The food is not quite as good and the service is just ok. Too bad they can't stay on top of their game.

With new ownership this formerly great little chinese spot went down the tubes. Frozen veges, sugary Mongolian sauce on fish. Haven't been back which is sad as we were regulars for 10 years 2-4 times per month.

Grabbed lunch here a few times and have never been disappointed! Portion sizes are enormous, plus each plate comes with soup and spring roll. Most meals are around $6-$8 for lunch. Check it out!

When 'Mary" owned Dragon Village, both the food and service were exemplary. Since 'Mary' sold the business to the current owners, both food and service have deteriorated. A friend and I used to meet there quarterly for lunch, when 'Mary' owned the business. The first time we met for lunch there after the ownership change, my friend, who is a... More

This Chineese restaurant is probably the best in Tucson, but the quality of food is going down, year after year... May be we expect too much from that restaurant. Anyways, the plates are full of food at a fair price. Try the Pekin Duck. He is excellent.

This is a hidden gem in Tucson. The food is delicious and always fresh. Their employees are very friendly. If you order take out, your order is ready within about ten minutes which is great for busy parents.

We have gone to Dragon Village many times and really enjoyed it. There is a New owner. I have gone to lunch and the entree is a lot less food, Also, I think the prices have increased. The dinner menu for at least the family dinner menu has changed and some increase in price. I wish the orginal owner was... More

Dragon Village, once on the list of the 100 best Chinese restaurants in the country, and pride of Oro Valley, has undergone a change in ownership. The food, once guaranteed to be fresh, authentic and flavorful, is now bland, tasteless and quite possibly in the case of some appetizers, fresh out of a frozen box. I cannot in good conscience... We had forgotten this place and hadn't been in years. We took my 93 year old mother. She loves sweet and sour chicken with a hint of fresh ginger. Other restaurants will gladly add a touch of ginger. We were given an irritated and emphatic "no". Our food was mediocre at best. Likewise for the service. I know this restaurant... More

This place isn't real big but they have good and reasonable Chinese food. There Happy Hour wine and beer are special prices and very reasonable. The food is prepared fresh and served fast. They are open for lunch and diner. We always try to go early for diner as they can get very busy. Also they do a great take... More
