Great Local Breakfast Place

Four of us picked Sahuaro Café based on your reviews. We really enjoyed it. Our friends split the breakfast tacos. They thoroughly enjoyed them. My wife and I shared a California omelet. We too enjoyed ours. Both were freshly made and served hot. The service was good and friendly. It seemed... read more

We sat outside on one of the first cooler mornings of the fall. They were very busy, which is usually a good thing. Pets are welcome outside and they bring bowls of water for them.

This place is AMAZING! Short ride from El Conquistador Hilton. We came with a party of 9 people, and were immediately greeted hy Elizabeth with a smile and assured us that "we will make it happen, I will seat you shortly." Mind you, this is not a very large restaurant (which I like). Half of my party was not here... More

We came on a Saturday morning and it was very busy so the wait was a bit long. We had no problem w/ that. It was the breakfast. My husband said the hash browns had a 'chemical' taste. Mine were fine but our meal sat atop the counter for over 10 min and was barely tepid. Because of the crowd... More

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Oro Valley! The owner really loves her guests and works to ensure every visit is a great experience. We love the Chicken Nachos, and the salads are wonderful, too. Eggs Benedict are pretty great there, too, and the biscuits are heavenly. If she's been in a baking mood, you're in for a real... More

Do you like Churros? Sorry, that's a stupid question...of course you do, who doesn't? Do yourself a favor and order the Churro French Toast, it's a unique spin on french toast and just delicious. Overall the place was quiet, friendly, and fast with the breakfast. I'll for sure go back next time I'm in the area.

Been to the cafe at least 2 dozen times. Find overall a great breakfast experiance. The only exception on the menu is the jeuvos rancheros (mexican egg dish). Not homemade at all, canned refried beans, an salsa, bland. You want this dish try mosaic cafe or carlottas in catalina, homemade. Im born and raised in arizona and know mexican food.... More

Whether you are a seasonal visitor, a weekend guest, or a local, you can't go wrong for breakfast or lunch at the Sahuaro Cafe in Oro Valley. The service is consistently excellent as is the food. Don't be in a rush. The wait is worth it!

Food is marginal but the floor is covered in slippery grease with packed in dirt. You can see a middle path of relatively clean floor and then the packed in greasy dirt begins. Look around the booths, the walls, the furniture and the entry way. It looks like they ran the mop down the center of the floor and left... More

I apologize for the unacceptable condition of our floors upon your visit. We had a coffee machine "repaired", that then brewed coffee all night and flooded the restaurant damaging the floors and some furniture as well. It has been an insurance nightmare but I am happy to report that next Monday and Tuesday all of the floors are being cleaned... More

This is a very popular place. The morning we dined here with friends, the place was packed and every table was either occupied or contained dirty dishes. It appeared that they were very short-handed. The food is predictable and the quality acceptable. I'd return here if I was looking for a breakfast place in Oro Valley.
