good food and service

We went for dinner - had tamales and they were very good - salsa was good - service was good but we needed a translator on some things.

This is one of my favorite local spots for lunch. They have several combo choices so you taste a little bit of everything. The salsa is a bit spicy and they serve it with Mexican limes so you can cool the heat. On my most recent visit, the owner let me know they had just made the tamales. It was... More

I grew up eating Carne con Chile here and it's delicious. Unfortunately though, when I came back recently, I came back knowing of some food sensitivities to flour and they use it in their sauce (the last time I checked) so make sure to ask. Last time I went I had steak and shrimp and also the tamales.

I always say, "If the beans and tortillas are great, everything else will be good, too". La Cabaña not only has the tastiest and greatest variety of authentic Mexican food, but you can eat it acconpanied with a beer or Margarita. This is the real way to eat Mexican food.

With the use of Tripadvisor found this good Mexican restaurant in a city of many. Was there for lunch and had the chile relleno and carne asada burrito combo plate. All was good as was my friend's beef tacos. Prices were good.

Stale chips from a bag started the meal. The servers were unable to communicate in English or Spanish what was available.

Well this is Mexico and the food is awesome! The crane asada is off the chain. They don't know English so I hope you know at least a little Spanish... And try the margarita, it has a kick!

This restaurant serves up satisfying Mexican food. Mr. Gustavo Valencia a soft spoken and gracious man is the owner and host of this humble restaurant. The inexpensive menu offers up various combination plates or you can order a la carte. All orders are made to order and my plate came out streaming hot from the kitchen. I ordered chilli rellenos,... We love Road Food and think the Sterns should be canonized. We've followed them (through their books) all over America and they have NEVER disappointed us (well, maybe me with the Cincinatti Chili)! And, once again, they came through with this tiny restaurant tucked into a shopping plaza. We almost missed it the morning we went, arriving early, about 11... More
