Our party of four just wanted something simple like hamburgers but were tempted by the lighter fare instead. The grilled Caesar was excellent. The spinach salad with artichoke hearts and roasted red pepper was fresh, delicious, and huge. Two of us had fresh homemade vegetable soup, highlighted by sweet tasting fresh tomatoes. All this was followed up by a huge bread... More

My friend Kathy and I drove up to Mt Lemon for some hiking and to get away from the July Tucson heat. We were both hungry after a morning of hiking and headed over to the Sawmill Run Restaurant where we were seated outside. You could smell the wonderful smells of sausages being smoked next to the patio. We both... More

We took a day trip up Mt Lemmon and found this restaurant near the peak. We chose to eat outside since it was nice and cool outside and close to sunset. The atmosphere was nice, with views of mountains, cabins, hummingbirds and other wildlife. The variety of the menu was good and I don't think there was really anything over... More

We stopped here on our visit to Mt Lemon. Menu had a nice variety and food overall was good. But the service was slow as could be. Seemed like we waited a long time for our cold sandwiches and a salad. The salad arrived and it was at least 5 minutes before the sandwiches were served. Lots of servers but... More

It was a perfect day on Mt Lemmon. Blues skies, sun, and best of all, thirty degrees cooler than Tucson where we left an hour earlier. With this sort of setting how could anything be less than wonderful. The restaurant didn't let us down. Nothing particularly outstanding. A great bacon cheeseburger, a good smoked chicken, and a passable tri tip... More

Near the peak of Mt Lemon, this place has excellent food for a tourist area. We had the barbecue chips - pulled pork over house made potato chips and it was just delicious and more than enough for two. All the dishes looked good and the people raved about them. Not to pricey for a tourist spot either.

Decided to go to the mountains to escape the 108 degree Tucson heat. The restaurant had 4 couples in front of us. We were told there would be a 10-15 minute wait. In 10 short minutes we were seated. The spinach salad was incredible and so was my husband's sandwich. The waitress was very friendly and did a great job... More

We arrived, unbeknownst to us, just after opening. Some staff were literally running, trying to keep customers happy and they did! Breakfast was really good (though their version of hash browns were really country potatoes but they were so very good.) Eggs done properly, meats done well. Best part was our server, Justin, who was just as quick as he... More

We took a drive to Mt. Lemmon, had lunch and was very surprised! It was our first time in Mt. Lemmon and of course restaurants are limited. We stopped at the Sawmill Run. We were greeted by a very personable young woman who answered all our questions about the menu. We chose the pulled pork with blue cheese coleslaw and... More
