Nice surprise

Split a quarter order of ribs with husband. (Five ribs) meat was falling off the bone. Very tasty. Also had the key lime pie, which was delicious. Clean restaurant. Very friendly waitstaff. Inexpensive. Well worth the stop

Near the peak of Mt Lemon, this place has excellent food for a tourist area. We had the barbecue chips - pulled pork over house made potato chips and it was just delicious and more than enough for two. All the dishes looked good and the people raved about them. Not to pricey for a tourist spot either.

Decided to go to the mountains to escape the 108 degree Tucson heat. The restaurant had 4 couples in front of us. We were told there would be a 10-15 minute wait. In 10 short minutes we were seated. The spinach salad was incredible and so was my husband's sandwich. The waitress was very friendly and did a great job... More

We arrived, unbeknownst to us, just after opening. Some staff were literally running, trying to keep customers happy and they did! Breakfast was really good (though their version of hash browns were really country potatoes but they were so very good.) Eggs done properly, meats done well. Best part was our server, Justin, who was just as quick as he... More

This place is absolutely awesome! Huge portions and very large menu. Staff was extremely friendly and even gave us some tips on places to visit on Mt Lemmon!

We took a drive to Mt. Lemmon, had lunch and was very surprised! It was our first time in Mt. Lemmon and of course restaurants are limited. We stopped at the Sawmill Run. We were greeted by a very personable young woman who answered all our questions about the menu. We chose the pulled pork with blue cheese coleslaw and... More

Food is overpriced. The service is pathetic. The menu has changed and is lacking considerably in selections. Been there 3 different times to give it a chance, I don't plan on going back.

Was given gift certificates for this restaurant... $225. Worth. New owner refused to honor any of them stating that he's the new owner and he won't honor any from the past owner! Did this with a really nasty attitude in front of other customers. Bad move buddy. Several guests left when they witnessed this and we will never return to... More

Homestlye food in large portions that amazed my taste buds. It may be 8000 feet in the air, but the drive up is worth it. I got a bacon cheesburger meal for 12.99 and only finished half of all of it. I recommend it for fun trips

My husband and I decided to drive the 28 miles up to the top of Mt. Lemmon. We had lunch at the Sawmill Run restaurant. Wonderful time. The service was excellent, staff very friendly, and the food was delicious. The cherry cobbler......to die for. Definitely worth the drive.
