Three of us took our RZR's on the Rice Peak trail in Oracle then went up the back side of Mount Lemmon for some hot chocolate and a snack. The 3 berry cobbler, one of several cobbler options, was plenty for 2 to share with 2 scoops of ice cream and whipped cream. Considering that this is a destination eatery,... More

I live in the Tucscon area, and we occasionally visit Mt. Lemmon. Our family's first choice is to go to the cookie cabin. Is cozy, the food is of good quality in general and the people are nice (but tired and some quite irritable). I noticed quite some people complaining about the no kids signs. I've only really noticed one... More

Long lines. High prices. Dry. Unorganized. Unprepared. People in front of us waited 30 mins in line just to find out that their super exotic flavor called, "Chocolate Chip" was going to take another 35 mins. I was surprised the gentlemen didn't leap over the counter in a fit of rage. The sampler sounds amazing, but is actually old cookies... More

This is one of 2 resturants in Summerhaven. They are only open for lunch. They sereve pizza which would be good for dinner but they close at 4PM. We only had a snack. It was good but $6.00 for a cookie!

This family-owned restaurant serves pizza and cookies. I have never tried their cookies. The pizza is tasty, and all added ingredients are free. They try to keep the price affordable, and do reasonably well. There is a real sense of personal service. The family members are professional but friendly and willing to chat about the food. I talked to one... More

Pizza was just average and you'll pay over $5/ slice. Pizza akin to something you would get at the movie theater or a bowling alley. Woman working counter was very disinterested and appeared to be annoyed that we were taking some time to make food decisions with our small kids. Cabin had a cozy appearance but the servers didn't maintain... More

I took a friend of mine up the mountain last Fall and we stopped by this restaurant - as I usually do - after visiting the Living Rainbow Gift Shop next door. I agree that the prices aren't the lowest I've ever seen - but the portions are generous to a fault! Cobbler a la mode is a delightful way... More

I am always interested to read reviews that talk about the "slow service". Mt. Lemmon is a place to rest and relax and Cabins and Cookies is the perfect place to do so and we always go here when coming to the mountain. If you are coming to Mt. Lemmon to receive fast food, then this restaurant is not the... More

We recently drove the back roads from Oracle to Mount Lemmon. What a beautiful drive...spectacular scenery. We were excited to have a coffee and cookie when we finally reached the mountain and stopped into what looked like a cute cafe. The first bad sign was the girl at the counter; terse and uninterested. We decided to splurge and get two... More

We've all seen the "funny" signs cautioning parents that unsupervised children will be given espresso and a free puppy. But this place takes the control your kids signage to a whole new level. When I saw the THIRD sign about it, we were both totally put off by the negative vibe, so we left. And we didn't even have our... More
