Great Food

Attended a birthday luncheon here. We ordered a variety of starters including very fresh Tuna Sashimi. I had a seared tuna steak for my main. Great food.

We ate here one night on our recent stay in Apia. The food was delicious, the service was very good and the prices reasonable.

Excellent food, great service. If you're in Apia then don't miss this. I had zuppa di pesce - lovely fish and a great tomato based broth followed by a tuna salad - cooked rare and melt in the mouth. And then beautiful deserts.

Absolutely loved the dinner we had here. I had the amazing salmon, my partner had yummy fish of the day - both our meals were cooked to perfection! Tiramisu for desert mmmmmmmm to die for!! We were lucky enough to meet the owners/chef after too - such a lovely couple! Definitely the best meal on the island!

After very average Hotel food this restaurant was a life saver for us three foodies. Nice clean environment. Good wine selection and food selection. I had snapper and a bed of mash, side of veggies, em emm, yummy as. My friends had the signature dish of lamb. Presentation, variety and experience is well worth it. Not the cheapest place to... I loved the pasta here. Jo, the owner sat with us while we ate and we reminisced of his time working in Auckland kitchens and the time he had the same named restaurant in St Heliers, Auckland. Loved hearing the local chat, especially the chat on the upcoming All Blacks historic game in Apia coming up in a fortnight.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. We were not disappointed. The service and food was brilliant. We shared an entree is seafood antipasto. It was fantastic. We chose the Lamb dish and local fish. Again brilliant. There was also a very good wine selection to match the food. I would rate this place and one of Samoas... More

This place is amazing, would rank it with any Viaduct restaurant in Auckland. The owners had a restaurant in Auckland and the chef has moved home to Samoa. He has trained the local guys up to cook the food and he has done an outstanding job. The Pizzette is to die for. It is a large ball of Italian fried... More

When we found that Joe had opened Scalinis in Samoa, we simply HAD to go. His previous restaurant in St Helliers in Auckland, NZ, was a favourite and well frequented. And knowing it was placed as no 2 on Tripadvisor gave huge reassurance. The food is awesome - especially if you enjoy Italian. The spaghetti marinara was superb - fantastic... More
