Delicious food and nice setting!

Definitely would come back here, had a meat and cheese platter one of the best we have had in South America. Had a traditional Swiss dinner and had no idea what to expect but it was delicious! A bit on the expensive side but totally worth it! Sitting on the patio upstairs is really nice too.

Our choosing to go to this restaurant was due to reviews here on TripAdvisor. I left with mixed feelings. To be fair, the restaurant itself is great. There are multiple levels where one can be seated. We chose the upstairs and outside. As it was getting chilly out, a staff member immediately lit the heaters. It started raining hard and... More

We had a large group to eat dinner. We had great service and the food was so good, we went back and took friends. The steaks are wonderful.

We went to this restaurant with high expectations. Our expectations were easily overwhelmed. Food was great. One of the best steaks I've had in Ecuador as a whole. Salads are big! Great quality of service as well.

The Swiss Bistro has delicious and authentic Swiss meals on the menu. The painting on the outside of the restaurant seems very Swiss (black and white). The staff is very friendly and helpful. I loved the covered outdoor dining on the second floor with a wide variety of plants and a hammock to enjoy while waiting for your order. Very... More

Wonderful rooftop dining area, sheltered in the rain and heat in the cool evenings. Had two delicious meals here, and would have gone back from more if we had time. Lovely place for a meal, or just drinks. Friendly and attentive service.

We visited here in a Friday night, had a classic fondue and a Camembert fondue (cost around $17 each)....really good quality. Served with bread, potatoes and tomatoes (tomatoes in slices were not great at keeping their shape). Delicious fondue, worth a visit

This restaurant is delightful. The food is very good as is the service. There is an entire upstairs that we did not see or we would have gone up there. They have both outdoor and indoor areas up there that are considerably more spacious than downstairs. The chocolate fondue for desert is especially wonderful.

This place is so different from the other choices in Banos. Lots of various seating areas downstairs or upstairs. I love to eat outdoors, and this place has a wonderful outdoor, covered garden area in which to dine. At night, heat lamps take off the chill. We loved the fondue and our main meals didn't disappoint.

We ate here after our trip to the jungle and we were disappointed. Nice quaint restaurant, food was delicious, little outdoor area for the smokers. Had the french onion soup as a starter and was wonderful. Hubby had the beef dish and I had Zurich chicken, both were delicious. Definitely recommend.
