I went to this place twice during a 6 day stay in Banos. This place features high quality beef, pork, and chicken cooked Argentine style. Most will go for the 2-person mixed grill, which is tenderloin, pork chops, chicken breast, and 3-4 types of sausages. This is a lot of food for $20. Really, 3 hungry people will be full... More

There is only a few places I have found in ecuador that doesn't flatten your steak. Good prices and what also doesn't happen much in ecuador is they asked me how I wanted it cooked. We were recommended this place by the owner of the arte cafe. And I'm glad we listened. I would return for they steak.

I went to this restaurant because of the good reviews in trip advisor but the experience was awful. The waiter was rude and the food disgusting. Don't waste your time and money.

My husband and I enjoyed going to this really quirky and unique Argentinian restaurant a couple of times while we were studying Spanish in Banos. I am not that much of a meat eater but my husband sure is and he LOVED all of the meat selections, especially the steaks. I quite enjoyed the chicken and ostrich as well as... More

I seriously think this was the best steak I have ever had. Very juicy, tender and flavorful. I also like the sides, sauces and the salad that we ordered that was nicely presented with fresh vegetables and cheese slices.

Had their lomo steak that was good and not so big- was a little expensive. Also I ordered the 4 chorizo which were nice. The meal comes with bread and delicious dips.

Probably one of best steaks I've ever had was here. Can't wait to go and eat here again. My favorite meal was the parrillada that comes with all the meats. It was incredible. :)

Raw chicken, couldn´t believe it... if you don´t want to get sick, i´d give this place a wide berth. I´m not a picky eater, but when i´m presented with raw chicken, i have a problem with that. Check to make sure your food is cooked if you go here.

Was recommended to go here. The starter was lovely and the bread with garlic also nice. Unfortunately my grilled chicken was not cooked. Luckily I had not eaten too much before I realised this. They did try to charge us for it but my partner said that it was not good so they removed it from the bill. Still it´s... More

We had many a great meal in Ecuador, and Quilombo made it high on the list of favorites. The chicken was delicious -- flavorful and perfectly done. The atmosphere is a hoot -- from the menus to the decor. Our waitress was a bit snarly, but somehow seemed a perfect fit in this quirky place.
