Savory TexMex food, vegetarian options, outstanding guacamole and the best Margaritas in town. Saul, the owner, and his wife will give you personalized service and will take care that everything goes right. This is a 14 year tradition restaurant and I always return when vist Banos (and the taste remains the same).

This restaurant is in a nice location in Banos, Ecuador and is in an old house nicely decorated with pictures of old Mexican films and one particularly good shot of Pancho Villa and his gang before he was captured by General Sherman. Okay so now for the review. I went there with a lady friend for dinner. There were Margaritas... More

While on a short holiday in Baños, I stumbled upon this gem of a Mexican restaurant. I was first impressed with its entrance up a long staircase, which makes it feel private, and overlooks the surrounding area. I chose a window table for the lovely nighttime view. Living in Ecuador, I have not found especially good Mexican food for more... More

The food is average, not great and not too bad... it is slightly expensive but the ambience is very interesting with stories of Che, history of indigenas, paintings, poems, etc... one can walk around the restaurant while waiting to be served..the service was good and the people friendly... they don't accept credit cards..

This is a small restaurant and we was greeted by a friendly man. He promptly took our orders and we admired the interesting decor of photos and pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed our beef and chicken fajitas. The portions were huge and very tasty. Recommend this place

My girlfriend and I were excited about going to this place, because we love Mexican food and liked the atmosphere of Panchos. The interior is wonderful, with lots of photos, paintings and jokes on the walls. The service is also friendly and quick. That being said, the food was a huge disappointment. I lived in Southern California for seven years... More

We have eaten here as a family almost every time we come to Banos. We just stumbled on it one evening and LOVED it. It is a very interesting atmosphere with many things on the wall to look at and feels very homey. The portions have been fine for us-especially for a smaller evening meal. The service is always wonderful... More

We ate here recently on our trip to Banos and weren't disappointed. Although we were the only customers at the time, the atmosphere was still great as the room has loads of interesting things on the walls to look at. Service was attentive and fast. The food was delicious - can highly recommend the nachos. Some of the tastiest we've... More
