Gourmet is an overstatement

The place stands out , has presence from the outside . Inside nothing special . And while they approach you with a smile and don't let you wait the food itself , while presented nicely is not exactly gourmet , not yet anyway but still not a bad choice alltogether

The staff were SO incredibly accommodating here. I actually made it a point to remember the name so that I could write this review. We got off the cruise early in the am, and they basically opened for the 30 or so of us that had arrived. The manager was so friendly, she even helped by letting me use her... More

The meals here are fresh and delicious - the trout was so delicate it melts in your mouth. Staff are pleasant to deal with and attentive.

good food and reasonable menu selection, good location, nice surroundings. I had trouble with wifi but otherwise good stop.

Elegant and pleasant place! Nice music selection! We asked for a table with different smoked raw sea food, including king crab, shrimps, sea bass and salmon. Exquisite cuisine! The price is average to expensive, but not absurd for the local prices. If you can spend a little bit more money, I recommend it!

Andino is a great restaurant, at the main road of downtown Ushuaia. Here, I ate one of the best lomos I ever had, with a balsamic reduction. Totally worthy it!

Being in town for 12 days total, I went to this place like 5 times, for lunch, dinner, snacks & cocktails, & for coffee to warm up. Wait staff is very, very nice & they do not tack on service charges or place setting fees, or whatever they're called. The food is good, the prices are good & the restaurant... More

This was one of the few places open for lunch on a national bank holiday which was great. Service was friend and menu was in English too. We had tasty pastries and some warming hot chocolate and coffee they also have free wi-fi. The mains looked quite expensive but did look good.

Wow! This place was the best for food and customer service. Went there a few times. The afternoon staff were great but it was the night staff who stood out - especially Alicano (spelling?). Throughout my meal he had 8 tables to manage on his own. He attended to all of us without delay and without neglecting anyone else Outstanding.... More

Prior to boarding our ship, we were looking for a good place to have a light meal and check emails. Once on board, internet access was going to be slow and iffy. The Andino Gourmet looked bright and clean. And it had free wifi. When you enter, you have two choices. Go to the right and you're in a more... More
