the restaurant and the service are good but the famous patagonic lamb, in my opinion, is bellow the average. They use to cook it for several hours. The meet lost the juice. I prefer a short term barbecue, when the meet looks pink.

Imagine a place where the meat is cold, hard as a rock, the fries are greasy and the service is very poor. We had a hard bread for entrance, with a poor sauce. There were not many optitions of side dishes as well.

There is an option that takes all of the thinking out of your decision. Tendedor Libre. It was worth every cent. The food was so good, too There is a ravioli on the buffet table that is to die for. I ate 3 plates full in addition to the three plates of various meats. The wait staff was awesome. There... More

This place is dreadful. I've been twice, the lure of roast lamb made me forget my first experience but it all came flooding back the second time. The staff are rude save for one obsequious waiter who tries his best and reminds you tips aren't included. The meat is of average quality and the sides are poor. The salad and... More

We had an okay meal here - service was fast (especially considering this is an area where slow service is considered more polite) and the meal was cheap. The meat was on the fattier side, but everything else was pretty good (salad bar had lots of options, though none looked terribly exciting). Overall it was a good stop for a... More

The indoor version of a barbecue party. No fancy anything, just a well stacked all-you-can-eat buffet and heaps of grilled meat for a reasonable price. The lamb was my favorite, but I tried the pork and chicken for good measure. Good wine, good service.

Pilot bringing our Tall Ship up the Beagle channel recommended this restaurant as the best in Ushuaia. Visted with fellow crew members as an end of watch meal after 8 weeks at sea, 6,500 miles fom New Zealand to Ushuaia, round Cape Horn. Important then, was this first evening meal on land. You can eat a la carte or all... More

This restaurant serves great lamb, you can eat "a la carte" or for a fixed price (about 20 US$) "eat as much as you can". Definitely worth the visit!!

We were only in Ushuaia for a day off a ship - we asked a local where to go for good BBQ and he recommended this place, the Chimi Churri was heaven and the steak and lamb divine. Not too many tourists but lots of locals, fabulous - no idea why it rates so low.
