Good food and friendly stuff

We just had dinner there. The food was delicious and the stuff was friendly. We had calamari as starter (very recommended) and trout (very good) and Chilean king crab (was my first king crab; I found it good but not a dish which I would regularly order).

We had this restaurant recommended to us by a local tour guide, and found it to be an authentic Patagonian restaurant catering to locals not tourists. It is away from the main street and homely but uninspiring to look at, but the seafood is absolutely stunning.

Recommended by our guesthouse, we went there for lunch! What a nice suprise to discover a authentic place like this: local fresh sea food, home made, reasonable price, appreciated by the local clients which is a sign of quality! Having tried calamar à la romana in serval different continents including its country of origin Spain, this dish is the best... More

Had a quick lunch here. ( Argentinian quick). Had natural crab and a nice malbec. Very clean. Service slow as usual but cordial. Crab was good quality served with Louie sauce. Butter was available. Would eat here again.

When you see the small door from the street you don't think it will be one of the best meals in town - but it will! Simple room, chilean menu, the scallops in pisco (AR$ 105) are divine and really has lots and lots of scallops. It's acctually an entreé but we ordered it as one hour d'ouveurs for two.... More

Small family run restaurant with a Chilean flare in the southern most Argentine city. Wide selection of foods with an emphasis on crab and seafood dishes. Warm and inviting. Limited by very good chilean and argentine wines, which were well priced.

The service is not great. They are slow and not very professional. The fish is good quality, but it is impossible to eat grilled fished that is not under tones of sauces. We ordered three grilled fishes (all different), all of them under a mountain of sauce :-( So, order with no sauce, but not sure it is possible.

We had lunch here after it was recommended to us by two different locals. It's a simple, casual eatery with really good food. Service was slow -- but that seems par for the course in most Latin American cities we have visited. We were in no hurry, so it wasn't a problem for us.

One may get very delicious food here, but the waiting is forever. That may ruin the experience. My general opinion is that you may find as delicious food as this at many other places in Ushuaia.

This restaurant is not immediately easy to spot, as you will have to find a sign and climb upstairs to actually find the restaurant. The atmosphere is interesting, with a number of Chilean memorabilia on the walls. The restaurant is simple but seafood was actually good. We tried an excellent entry with scallops and then a light plate of friend... More
