Next to the harbour, with a good view. This restaurant is a little bit more expensive than all the others, but the food quality is perfect. We've tried kings crab, salmon fish and beef. All were perfect made.

They specialise in King Crab which was amazing - and gave may good advice to pick the way it was cooked. Good service, good value, great views

Merluza Negra ( black hake) and King Crab deviled followed by Flan with dolche con leche were outstanding components for a late night, 10:00 p.m. Meal. Service was most helpful and friendly. Restaurant clean and on the water with nice views. Prices were on the higher side, but value was there.

We ordered the scallops soufleé (AR$100) and it was amazing, seriously! The merluza negra with shrimp (AR $240) and stuffed trout (AR$220) were also pretty good. The only problem was that the food and the environment were cold, and that troubled our pleasure with the meal... also the couvert was not good (cold bread, plain oil instead of olive oil).... More

We had one day in Ushuaia after a cruise to Cape Horn. After checking out reviews of local restaurants, opted for Tante Nina. This restaurant which overlooks the port specializes in fish and seafood. I ordered the recommended special, black hake with a shrimp sauce. It was just perfect. My wife who is not a fish lover opted for an... More

Tanta Elvira's was closed, so we went to our Aunt Nina's, just a half block up the street, for a late lunch prices were higher by about 50%, but still under about $20 per person. Everything was prepared and served very well, the chicken was particularly delicious but the trout wasn't anything special. We especially enjoyed the familiar mountain flowers... More

We decided to go to Tante Nina based on a recommendation from our cruise provider and we were not disappointed! We arrived around 7:15 and the restaurant was empty but started to fill up closer to 8. We had a king crab appetizer and then I had a king crab main while others in the group had the black hake... More

Had lunch on December 9. Very friendly server, who was quite helpful (we speak no Spanish). Menu has both Spanish and English explanations of dishes. Server recommended a wonderful wine (Finca La Linda Unoaked Chardonnay). Hubby had Centolla a la Provenzal (King Crab in a parsley & garlic sauce-$280 pesos). I had Merluza Negra Con Salsa de Ferro (black hake-very... More

Went here "off the cuff " on recent trip, was attracted by the view across the bay and the look of the restaurant. However was very disappointed by the food. Had the squid which was overcooked and my wife had the trout which was floating in a lemon sauce. The restaurant was quiet when we went in, but filled up later... More

We had an excellent lunch at Tante Nina. With a nice view over the Ushuaia Bay we had a great king crab stew and a nice fish plate. The desert (chocolate volcano) was even better. Hours after lunch we still talked about it. Service was good and we could pay in US $ without problem and at a good rate.... More
