Had lunch on December 9. Very friendly server, who was quite helpful (we speak no Spanish). Menu has both Spanish and English explanations of dishes. Server recommended a wonderful wine (Finca La Linda Unoaked Chardonnay). Hubby had Centolla a la Provenzal (King Crab in a parsley & garlic sauce-$280 pesos). I had Merluza Negra Con Salsa de Ferro (black hake-very... More

Went here "off the cuff " on recent trip, was attracted by the view across the bay and the look of the restaurant. However was very disappointed by the food. Had the squid which was overcooked and my wife had the trout which was floating in a lemon sauce. The restaurant was quiet when we went in, but filled up later... More

We had an excellent lunch at Tante Nina. With a nice view over the Ushuaia Bay we had a great king crab stew and a nice fish plate. The desert (chocolate volcano) was even better. Hours after lunch we still talked about it. Service was good and we could pay in US $ without problem and at a good rate.... More

The location is lovely. Service attentive, they prepared the food as we asked, it was tasty and fresh. We got there just after 7pm so we got served before the restaurant filled up, which was nice. They allowed us to pay in usd at a good rate.

In Argentina, I found service very average in most of the time, non-existent even sometimes. This is a restaurant with more attentive service. For the food, I alone ordered Ceviche King Crab as the starter and Black Hake as the main which are the chef dishes. The former is very good and creative, the latter not impressive. There is harbour... More

Friends who arrived before me had lunch at Tante Nina and recommended it highly. I ordered what the waiter recommended, the crab and the black hake. As promised, both were delicious and fresh. My crab ceviche was a light, nicely balanced concoction of lime juice, diced onion, red pepper, and crab. My main course, the black hake, was lightly grilled... More

The place is very well located near the beagle channel with water view. Food is awesome and the service very professional and kind as all around Ushuaia we tried. I tried the cetolla endiabrada, spicy but very good. My wife had the centolla hungara that was very good also. The ceviche de centolla is a must have entry. Great restaurant.

Great menu, king crab entree was delicious. Great service and reasonable price. Just happened to be walking past looking for somewhere to eat and would recommend.

Friendly, clean with a view and seafood which is fresh and well prepared as it should be in a seaport town. In a place where there is not much to see and do, you might as well seek out a good lunch. Prices are reasonable and recommended by the locals.

A group of about 8 of us had a delightful dinner here. My husband ordered Centolla de Aohenikenk (centolla being king crab), crab in a mushroom, cream and wine sauce that was excellent, one of the best dishes I’ve tasted anywhere. We all enjoyed our food. We also ordered desserts as the portions were not real big.
