When we arrived there we couldn't chose a table they chose for you.The food comes in a portion that is enough for a woman not for a man.The food is delicious I ate black merluza it cames with seafood and my husband ate the centolla ( big crab) it was delicious too. The wi-fi wasn't working and the desserts don't... More

I really liked the food at Tia Elvira. I ordered Trout Parmesan and I loved the sauce. My husband ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce, and he was very pleased with his choice. I believe the pasta is homemade. The wine was excellent. We had apple strudel for dessert. Yummy!

We had a lovely lunch here after a morning of shopping in downtown Ushuaia. They have the most amazing crab in garlic. The bread was terrific too. It is a small restaurant but very warm and welcoming. The staff doesn't speak much English but we were able to make ourselves understood. Great stop for well-priced lunch.

Great sea food served with special care. The only place in Ushuaia that served us hot bread for couvert and with an amazing centolla dip. Beagle channel view from front window. Very recommended if want to try a good food with home like ambient.

Although the appearance of the restaurant is a little bit old and touristic, don't miss it. It's one of the best options in the center of the city. The food is really great! The centolla is very fresh and delicious. The staff is very good too. It has a nice view of the bay if you sit by the window.

This restaurant caters for tour groups and will not accept reservations for parties of less than 10 people. So if you return at opening time, you may find that it is already booked out .This was our experience. There are plenty of good restaurants in the main street and less touristy further up the hill that do take reservations for... More

Came across this restaurant by chance, walking by. It was the best choice for food quality, having tried several restaurants over four days. Loved the ambiance and fellow diners tend to be friendly too.

The food was amazing and the price was not too bad for the quality of the food. The portion size was disappointing though, so be warned. The mussels we ordered were perfectly cooked and was actually a good portion, the garlic soup used to cook them was amazing. Centolla with Roquefort was delicious but the tiny portions wont allow me... More

The restaurant was about half empty, and when we asked for a table for 2 they said we could only sit at one table squashed amidst others. There were plenty of other tables, admittedly for 4 but they could have separated the tables. They refused to let us sit there. To my annoyance the next couple who arrived sat exactly... More
