Had two dinners here while "stranded" when our Grand Circle Cruise Tour to Antarctica was cancelled due to electrical problems with our ship. (We were also staying at the Hotel.) Both meals were quite poor. One night we had salads (mediocre), I had a porterhouse steak (cooked to shoe leather and totally tough and flavorless with four slices of raw... More

They mucked up a simple order for two persons. Waitress had no care factor. My wife asked for a well done steak with veges and received an undercooked steak with salsa. Unfortunately the superior attitude of many waiters / waitresses in Argentina was again on show here. Try elsewhere. The place needs a good clean and a reno update.

We had lunch here our first day in Ushuaia and it was very nice. We were warned we would get lunch portions, but it was enormous, basically I left more than half on my plate. That was a shame as it was delicious! The staff was very nice and quite proper. They made sure we had the proper silverware for... More

I was given a coupon of free drink in a cruise tour, and that's why I tried this restaurant which is near the pier. I felt too warm and uncomfortable with the ceiling to floor glass walls. The whole restaurant was lit up by sunlight and I was just like sitting in a greenhouse. One cannot even comment whether the... More

The first night we arrived, we decided to go for the Argentinian Steak on offer. We asked for Medium Rare, but what came was a slab of overdone, bone dry and tasteless meat. We could barely hack our way through half of it and our complaints on the poor quality and presentation were ignored.

We tried this as it was in our hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the caliber of the meals: good variety, delicious steaks (this IS Argentina after all), good seafood and starters. Service can be a little slow if it is busy, and they don't even start dinner service until 8 pm (again, very Argentinian). At lunch it isn't obvious... More

Crab soup was so good we went back the next day! Good service and good food. Lots of local cuisine including tea with patagonian berries, beagle channel beer and cheesecake topped with patagonian berries. Great view of the channel as well!

The restaurant is poorly decorated. The food is ok and the service isn’t bad….. the wine was great! From the restaurant you have a nice view on the harbour.

the staffs are so rude - even throw receipt foods are terrible - ' Italian pasta' is maybe made by Italian foot (not by hand) I can make pasta much better even with closing my eyes they never smile throw water on my table throw receipt They don't know about 'service' the WORST restaurant I've ever been

Four of us stopped into this bar/coffeehouse with an hour and 15 minutes to spare for a quick lunch before we had to catch our ship. It took 30 minutes before someone took our sandwich orders and we had to ask three times about our food before it finally arrived - with only 5 minutes to go! We refused to... More
