A little crowded but good food, acceptable prices and quite charming!

It was quite, quite crowded, I felt like every single tourist was inside the pub, but maybe that's because it is very charming little place. There are lots of old stuff hanging from the ceiling and walls and they still have some old furniture and machinery, so it's lovely. The prices were... read more

the interior is very interesting, including the bathrooms. went there twice during a visit to ushuaia. both times because a lot of places were closed and this place was very convenient from a location perspective. The interior has a lot of stuff that gives your eyes the opportunity to wander. Rabbit leg was very good, would order it if i... More

This restaurant is housed in an old general store and it provides a lot to look at while you are eating your meal. I had soup and salad and it is hard for them to get vegetables so I understand that, the onion soup was bland.

I had a great cappuccino and almond croissant; both excellent. Great cozy environment, nice furniture and beautiful antiques. Service is acceptable.

This is an interesting place to eat and represents a look back in history. A good option would be to come in during the day for coffee and cake and have a look around - others told us the cakes are great However we had an evening meal which was entertaining! The food was reasonable but our waitress was so... More

But the food is so-so and the service is slow. If you find yourself in Ushuaia at lunch time, stop in for a bowl of soup (quite good) and a stroll through history. This converted general store has lots of interesting artifacts and the pastries look yummy. Who can argue with a penguin made of meringue?

El Almacen is not just a restaurant, it's a place to go if you pass by Ushuaia. The location is quite handy, just in front of the port, couple of minutes from the main pedestrian street. The atmosphere is very friendly and cozy, and the style of the restaurant is really particular, it seems like to go back in the... More

The place has been convereted from very historical general store to great coffee shop that provide great food, coffee, beers, wines, variety of bread and pastries. It is definitely worth going there once you are in Ushuaia.

Ramos General was, originally, the general store of Ushuaia. The restaurant still has a lot of that character, which is great. The food is straightforward and reliable. I had both lunch and dinner here. Wifi is iffy...I never was able to connect.

This traditional coffee shop with old toys displayed on 1 side and fresh pastries on the other is quaint but also serves excellent food. The portions are large but competitively priced. The best pastries in town. The waiter was a bit stern but otherwise worth stopping by.
