Great craft brews, friendly staff, and a really cool environment (how often can you hang out and drink in a library?)

We called in here for a quick glass of house vino and to use the wifi to plan the rest of our day. The wifi didn't work and sadly the staff couldn't have cared less. The red wine was very warm, I suspect served in "dishwasher fresh" glasses, and a little sweet for my liking. By Argentinian standards it wasn't... More

Great 2nd floor bar and restaurant where you can get a great beer and some great conversation with locals and tourists. I really loved the library feel and windows which looked out onto the Main Street. Bartenders were friendly and provided great service. If you like a good pub then be sure to go as it doesn't get any better... More

Excellent place to meet people and to relax a bit. The staff is great and funny too. A good mix of clients and great choice of beers!

As a drinking establishment (coffee as well as alcohol) this place is great - the best in town. As an eating establishment, however, the food needs a little attention as it looks nicer than it is. But this seems to be a theme in El Calafate. It's a shame that you pay the highest prices in Argentina (more expensive even... More

This may well be a decent bar in a touristy area, artesanal stout beer was OK but nothing special. Food was lousy though and bite sized, the hamburger was comparable to a junior burger at McDonald's and quesadillas were actually Empanadas. Most surprising was that they refused to show us a bill and just gave us a total amount verbally.... More

I came here both nights I was in El calafate and felt like a home from home! Cosy bar and great staff who go above and beyond to make you feel at home.

A really great bar well worth a visit. Lovely staff (topped up a cocktail with some extra rum for us!) and funky surroundings. We had a sharing platter of cold meats and cheese. Tortilla was a bit heavy on potatoes. Best thing is the range of craft beers and cocktails.

after traveling all over Buenos Aires,Iguazu, Salta province, Meddozza etc. this was one of the best bars we saw. Most importantly, it had many alcohol and didnt have the typical terrible absolute void and johnny walker choices most of Argentina seems to have. Secondly, it was cozy and so nice. The bartender spoke English and I didnt have to use... More

Adorable decor, with wooden booths and a library theme. We came for coffee, of which there is an extensive selection including very unusual flavoured varieties. There is also a large tea selection. On the night we visited there was a roaming magician, who dazzled our table for an unforgettable ten minutes - really topped off the experience.
