Very good seafood

Juan and his wife run a very good small family restaurant. He is out front taking orders. Very personable. Complementary veggie and marinated bean starters. Lots of seafood options. We had trucha a la cosquera and trucha a la casa. Both were very fresh tasting. The cosquera comes with... read more

Visiting this resturant raises expectations but shortly you get disappointed. The trout fish we ate was tasteless and a little bit dry. The side salad in one order was a joke and same the baked potato at the other. Be carefull, this resturant don't accept C.C only cash. But if you pay in dollars they use exchange rate of black... We had a very mixed experience here. I had the local trout and it was spectacularly good, but my wife had cod which was a very poor choice - the cod seemed like it had been frozen (maybe so as they are probably not in the local lake) and the sauce was curdled. The restaurant has god nice atmosphere and... More

Having eaten quite a lot of beef during our stay in Argentina, we really fancied some fish and chose this restaurant based on reviews. It was excellent. The restaurant itself is slightly characterless, but the service was friendly and the fish was fabulous. They bring a complimentary aubergine dish to start, which was delicious. We shared two starters: sambas al... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel owner, upon hearing that we are not big meat eaters and like seafood. The restaurant is run by a family. We went there at 8-8:30pm and were able to be seated without a reservation. People who eat there were mostly locals. The owner does not speak English, but his daughter does.... More

Needed a break from red meat and found it here. The pescadores especial was fantastic. Pasta was good too. Fun atmosphere and very nice owners.

This place looks simple but the fish are excellent. The owners knows virtually no English but he compensates for it by being extremely nice. All in all, good value for money!

Wonderful experience. For an coastal country it has very few seafood places. This one is run by a Uruguayan and his Argentine wife. He is witty and a jokester. I had a wonderful merlusa (hake) dish. The rice and prawns dish was outstanding. The menu is extensive.
