We ordered the chops and it was a delight! The meat was prepared properly with just the needed burn and the amount of fat! A true delight!!

Been here with my wife, she took the Patagonian lamb, I took the Asado, it was ok but nothing special. The place feels like a cheap diner trying to look fancier than what it is. It's right in the town center which is why we went there but if you have time and patience you should choose more carefully.

on the main avenue - easy to find. always full with lots of Spanish speaking people. Meat portions are the biggest in all of Argentina that we found over 2 weeks - and the best! Loved watching the professional waiters in their efficient service. Well worth a visit!

Amazing lamb and good wine, but the most notable part of this dining experience was watching the professionalism, efficiency, attentiveness and skill of the cooking and wait staff. These guys gave a masterclass on how to manage rush hour in a busy and demanding restaurant.

Just a quick review to say that we had absolutely terrific food at Rick's in El Calafate. Barbecue lamb is absolutely outstanding, juicy, the best I've had in year. French fried were exactly like those my mom does. Delicious. Service was perfect, fast. This restaurant is a no brainer

We were told we would eventually get fed up with meat, but three weeks in and we were still going strong !! Glad we were as we went to Rick's and had two of the best steaks we had in the whole of our trip. Service was good, friendly and efficient. We don't usually go to the same place twice... More

The steaks here are really pretty good, but that is the only thing good that I have to say. Bad things are: Service is especially slow. Mashed potatoes were like water. Chocolate Mouse was horrible. I would recommend skipping this place. I am never never going back.

Argentinians produce and eat a lot of meat, especially beef and in El Calafate Rick's is the place to have it and lots of it. There are other dishes on the menu as well but barbecued or grilled meat is their specialty. Do not think that Argentinian restaurants are cheap.

We were a little dubious of this place, since it's called Rick's and it seemed very touristy, but so is the rest of El Calafate, so we gave it a shot. The patagonian lamb was actually very tasty! It was our first taste of patagonian lamb and ended up having better later in the trip, but Rick's was still really... More
