Carnivore ~

It was so crowded when we went for dinner and hence got to wait for a while. We ordered some wine and assorted meat so we get to try out. The portion of the meat was huge even if its just for the 3 of us. I like the chicken best, couldnt taste the difference between lamb and other meat... read more

Not much to write home about. Good meat, relatively inexpensive, ok selection of sides. Popular with the locals, perhaps, because the restaurant can easily accommodate large groups of people and the portions are large.

My husband and I ate here twice during our 3 night stay in El Calafate. We can't understand why it's not in the top 10....the food was amazing and very well priced compared to the other rip off parillas in town. Each night we had empanadas and provoleta to start...both were delicious. And for mains we had steaks one night... More

We read good reviews , came there at the middle of the week at the wright hours. Unfortunately it was dark and close with no any sign for the reason. Maybe they closed. Disappointment.

One of the best in El Calafate for meat which is prepared on a spit. There isn't much to write about the menu which consists mainly of meat with a large selection of side dishes and Argentinian wines. Although it is a large capacity restaurant, it gets full very quickly so unless you wish to eat early, I recommend a... More

The best lamb I have ever eaten. I needn't say more. It's not the cheapest but nowhere in El Calafate appears to be. My wife had the chicken kebab too which was brilliant. The portions are huge!

Parrilla Mi Viejo is in the main street of El Calafate. They serve the classic Patagonia Lamb, plus many other dishes. Mi lamb was good, it comes in a hot plate to keep it warm, a very generous portion is served. I did not eat at all the Green Bean Salad. What is curious is that in any other restaurant,... More

Located in the center of the city, easily recognizable due to the lambs roasting in the front window. Great grilled food - I highly recommend the grilled lamb viejo, lamb in a champagne and mushroom sauce. Reasonably priced for what is served.

Highly recommeded for lamb and trout, we orderer cordero con salsa champiñónes (mushroom sauce) and trout with Salsa de camarones (shrimp sauce).. they were very delicious, portions were quite abundant so if not really hungry i would suggest to share one of those meals specially if you order some starters. Great meal and great customer service.
