We came for dinner here. I had the BBQ lamb, hubby had the gnocchi. Both were awesome!! Lovely waitress, spoke good English. Liked it so much we came back the next night but it was closed! :(

Highly recommeded for lamb and trout, we orderer cordero con salsa champiñónes (mushroom sauce) and trout with Salsa de camarones (shrimp sauce).. they were very delicious, portions were quite abundant so if not really hungry i would suggest to share one of those meals specially if you order some starters. Great meal and great customer service.

What this restaurant lacks in ambiance it more than makes up for in quality of food. We had the best steaks in Argentina here...twice.

This restaurant serves your typical Patagonian lamb bbq'ed over wooden fire. The meat was a bit dry for my liking but nonetheless tasty whilst their sides were good. My companions tried the vegetarian soup and surprisingly relished it. Not expensively priced. But not that special that I would return here, if back in El Calafate, I'll try some other place.

Most delicious lamb served here! My wife who chose seafood/fish dishes was happy with all her choices too.

The place looked incredible from the outside, and the fact it was busy seemed like a good sign. Once we got in and were seated, everything on the menu seemed good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, despite hailing our waitress and a few others as well, it took us a good 25 minutes to have our orders taken. And this wasn't... More

A traditional grill where to have the best lamb in town, in my opinion. If you have beef, pls be sure to ask for a medium rare rare (medio cocido a crudo) as I found out in this last trip to Argentina that most parrillas serve stakes a bit too cooked for European taste. Don't forget to try a good... More

After 16 days in Patagonia I finally enquired locals about where to go for a nice parrilla. Thay all said about Mi Viejo. Unfortynately I do not know the name of the waiter who was helping us but I keep the memory, and that is what counts after all. Gentle and always with an eye on us. Thank you very... More

Lambs are delicious in El Calafate regardless of cooking style. But, mi viejo is one of the real patonian. Lamb is delicious. Vine was moderate. Too crowded, service pretty local( meaning, a bit slow)
