BBQ lamb - yum. Great service and great food - and we discovered a taste for good South American wine here.

Vast restaurant with multiple choices of barbecued tasty and juicy meat. Service is awful and beware that there is a seating fee (whatever that means) that is added to your bill.

The beef was amazing, but the lamb even more amazing. It was the most memorable meal of our entire 2 week Argentina trip.

We tried twice. First time we were turned down with no reservations...so make reservations. Second time went there for dinner kind of early by Argentinian standards. 7:30. But worthwhile. Excellent meat and well cooked, accompanied by great wines. A highlight of El Calafate, with the walk along the beach of Lago Argentina.

We ordered the mix of meat 2 that comes with huge pieces of Cordero Patagonico, Lomo and Chorizo steaks that could serve 04 people easily. The food was delicious and the staff was nice. Its worth the money.

The service matched the food...terrible! The steak was tasteless and tough, the waitress pressured us into leaving a tip after having ignored us for the evening along with the other staff, who overall seemed rather complacent and many of the drinks on the menu weren't available. Would not recommend, far better places in town to eat for the money.

La Tablita is a nice restaurant that´s famous for it´s bbq patagonian lamb. Don´t go too early though, they only open at 7pm for dinner. I had the mixed grill which includes tenderloin steak, patagonian lamb, and rumpsteak. All the meat was delicious. It doesn´t come with sides so you might want to get something. They have a pretty good... More

Obviously a popular place for a reason. Upscale atmosphere, nice wait staff, and delicious food. We sampled both the lamb and beef. Not the absolute best meat I had among the local restaurants in town, so maybe a little overhyped - but doesn't take away from an overall great dining experience for the evening!

By recommendation of our tour guide, we dined at La Tablita on our first night. It is a classy place, and that usually goes in hand with "expensive" but it was far less costly than what we anticipated. Our waiter was a bald man, probably in his 50's. he was amazing! He recommended us the traditional Cordero dish and was... More

I went there on my first night in El Calafate to taste the famous Cordero Patagonico (lamb) but got disappointed. First I had to wait for 20 minutes to get a table (I had not booked it is true) mainly because waiters were lazy and discussing between themselves or with usual customers. Some tables were empty but not cleaned. Then... More
