We loved the food but we thought this restaurant is too noisy and crowded! We left with a headache and a smell of grilled meat all over us :( we loved the food but will think about visiting again!

We were recommended by our hotel to eat here. It is often full. Make reservations. We were lucky as we walked in at 6pm when the restaurant was closed and made a reservation for 7pm. When we arrived for dinner, there were many people and some people could only get a table much later (9pm) as they were fully booked.... More

I arrived at La Tablita around 8:45 in the evening. I was looking for a table for just one person. The man at the desk asked if I had a reservation. After replying I did not, he thought for a moment and then said he could take me no earlier than 9:45. I said that was ok. I enjoyed sitting... More

My partner has visited La Tablita on previous occasions and so following his recommendation, we dined there during our recent visit to El Calafate. Everything about this restaurant is wonderful, the atmosphere, the friendly staff, the efficient service, and most importantly the food. We ordered the Bife De Chorizo and the Patagonian Lamb. Oh wow, both dishes were cooked to... More

What a brilliant restaurant this is!!!! Exquisite food, great atmosphere, the most friendly staff and fairly reasonably priced for the standard. If you're a vegetarian , forget about this place because the meat specialities are simply incredible. Gustavo our waiter was one of the best i have encountered in all my travels and made our night a delight. Do you... More

I had dinner here 2 times during the week and really enjoyed both meals. The place gets busy so be sure to book a spot. Great meats, wines and service by the Management and Staff. A wonderful parilla!

Initially you really need to make a booking otherwise you spoil your evening standing around. We shared the bbq Patagonian lamb which was most plentiful and so succulent. The garlic chips may not be to everyones taste but was a new experience which created a divided opinion. You just have to be so careful in not filling up on the bread and... We celebrated 10 days of hiking with dinner at La Tablita. We reserved a table for 8:15pm, but weren't seated until almost 9, and there was lots of other people waiting. The "couvert" bread and butter was a nice touch, the rest of the meal was average. Decent size steak, and it was cooked almost to perfection, but the total... More

I'm not sure why this place gets such a rave review. We found it impersonal and lacking in character. The host is fairly rude, the type where they seemingly hate their job and are doing you an immense favour by showing you a table. Really felt like they couldn't give a $&*# they just herd you in, take your order,... More
