My experience at La Tablita was flawless. The restaurant is quite spacious but i had the feeling that, at least in high season, they might be constantly fully booked, so better to reserve ahead to make sure you get a table. I heard that in case of delay, even short ones, reservations will be cancelled, so make sure to be... More

A friend and I were traveling last November (2014) in El Calafate and looked for a good restaurant. La Tablita had been recommended by a friend, and our hotel called and made a reservation for two at 7:45 pm. We were visiting the glacier and arrived at La Tablita between 7:50 and 7:55 pm for dinner - in other words,... More

La Tablita was recommmended to me by the Pilot on the inbound flight after a short conversation. He really was right! La Tablita is a place that caters to lots of visitors but the Service was fast and good. I came without a Reservation and was dviced a waoting time of about 15 minutes. After somewhere between 14 and 17... More

We were a group of eight and Tablita was on the very short list of recommended restaurants. We had a bit of a time to obtain a reservation, but that only indicated its popularity. The restaurant itself is at one end of town and the decor was very suitable, verging on very pretty. The service was fair, like most restaurants... More

The location was chosen since it already offers lunch and the hotel recommended it. The final verdict on the lunch: decent food for horrible prices. Food: the local recommended dish was the Patagonia Lamb. As the quoted price does not include any side dishes i decided to get grilled vegetables on the side. On the positive side the quantity was... We ate at La Tablita, recommended by staff at our hotel. We were glad to have made reservations, as it was packed by the time we were done. The appetizers were innovative (wild hare and lamb tongue). It was one of the pricier restaurants that we chose during our trip. Waitresses were very attentive to our needs.

This place was highly recommended by friends and also from guide books, so I thought we give it a try. Portions are big, which are a plus. Environment is nice and so are the staff. It is rather expensive than most restaurants I visited in Patagonia region, so if you have the budget for it, you should dine here!

We ordered 2 steaks. Rib eye and rib of beef. When they came we were surprised that one was enormous and the best steak we had had(rib of beef)whilst the other (rib eye)was some what tough and difficult to cut. As we struggled to eat all of the first steak it didn't matter too much. Paid in dollars ( 12/... More

This restaurant is rightly recommended by many guide books. The lamb is the best in town, service extremely friendly and attentive. A must for every gourmet!
