Expensive but well worth the money

A Broad menu with a very large selection of meats and other plates, though what you want to eat there is definitely a traditional Argentinian Asado. We were 3 people, sharing 3 different tipe of meat : Lamb, Asado and Vacio. All 3 were amazing. Desserts were also so very good, especially the creamy... read more

Had a good dinner here with my boyfriend. The service was good and the wait staff were efficient, friendly and happy to speak English for us. The Argentinan wine was delicious. The meat was rather tough but still tasty. We also ordered the grilled veggies, again good, but nothing special. Overall, overpriced for the quality of food. I would not... More

We loved the meal we had at La Tablita - with the Asado being the star of the experience. 3 hour cooked Lamb on open coals was juicy and salty and sweet. the perfect amount of fat and skin was included on this entree and we coupled it with white wine and parsley french fries. the servers were all very... We had enjoyed a very good lamb when the check came. An item appeared that did not match with anything we ate. I asked the waiter what was that and he said that they were charging for the service. “But you are charging the service here” I said pointing to another line. “Well…humm…yes but this is another one”. They were... More

My wife and I had dinner at La Tablita on both nights of our visit to El Calafate in March 2015. La Tablita is known for its gaucho-style cordero, but the steaks were excellent as well. We had the traditional Argentinean Asado the first night. All of the types of meat were quite good. However, we focused in on lomo... More

La Tablitha is at the very end of the high street over the bridge. Now this is a Parilla! You can see the traditional Pategonian lamb roasting on the spit when you walk in to the reception area of the restaurant and the atmosphere is buzzy with lots of locals and the service is fantastic, it doesn't feel touristy in... Do not show up at 9 PM, make sure you are there by early 8 PM to have a seat. Very popular place with well-deserved reputation to taste the real Calafate food. The star is the patagonian lamb, be careful portions are huge, one is good for sharing. Deserts and anything else is delicious too.

Just visited. Cannot believe ther are so many people here. I think there's connection with hotels. we were recommended by our hotel too. Asado is just average. Salad meh. And it is too expensive. Service not impressive.

Meat is of great quality and well kooked. We eat a Mix (cordero, bife chorizo e bife lomo) for the 3 of US for 30 euros. If in doubt with Casimiro dont even think 2x. The other has flies allover, and the quality of meat was terrible.
