It was a bit of a walk from our hotel, but it was worth it. We showed up just before it opened and stood in a line of about 7 people. I loved the bohemian decor and feel of the place. There were so many tempting dishes on the menu. The lentils were wonderful and hearty and paired nicely with... More

This place was recommended to is by our hotel. It's not were you come for huge steaks but for hearty home cooked food. The place wasn't that busy when we arrived around 9pm but quickly filled up and was soon packed. Service was good and the serves were huge!

We went to this restaurant upon the recommendation of a friend who previously visited it and also upon reading good reviews about it in Trip Advisor. It was a 20 minutes walk from our hotel, located at one end of El Calafate. The lovely purple of the building paint attracted us immediately. Inside, it was a colorful but also a... More

Great portions and flavours. The only downsides are the wait and the empanadas are not as good as up north.

Fun place to eat in El Calafate. Recommended by our hotel front desk staff as a place he goes for dinner with friends. Our server was terrific, very friendly and accommodating. Food was solid, with good vegetarian options. The food is a bit on the heavy/hearty side, but that's find if you've spent the day hiking or doing other outdoor... More

Get there early or you will wait for a while to get in and get a table. We went about 15-20 minutes before it opened and there were already 6 people in front of us. After we arrived, another 10-15 people showed up and we had to form a line to get in. Good thing that we did because when... More

this is a fantastic restaurant in the center with an amazing atmosphere. I have eaten a really good soup and stuffed pumpkin and had a really good glas of red wine. My husband enjoyed the meal as well.

Delicious! Excellent veggie options, and terrific ambiance, meal presentation. A bit pricey...but all restos in Calafate are. This was the best quality-price balance we found in town. Yum! Note that main dishes are enormous - we shared one and ordered appetizers. Even in Chalten, people on the trails were talking about Pura Vida. Definitely our best meal in Patagonia

This place is famous only because it is named on a guide. Honestly food quality was poor, place is looking like an "i'm an alternative "figlio dei fiori" therefore i'm cool" but again there is absoluteky nothing special. We had the cazuela de lomo and another typical dish but they were nothing special. Staff is not really "quick" but maybe... More
