Quite possibly the best steak I have ever had

It is best to arrive just before the 8 pm opening time to get a good table because 20 minutes later the place is packed. The steak was among, if not the best, steaks that I have ever had. The wine as both excellent and affordable, The desert was forgettable, however. Some whiskey ice cream dish... read more

We found this restaurant on triposo. When we found it we noticed a queue of ppl standing outside the restaurant. We waited about 10 minutes as it only opened at 8pm. After everyone was seated they took everyones order table by table before the orders were sent to the kitchen. Guess this was supposed to be more efficient? However our... More

We ordered 3 portions of filet steak with fries and a nice bottle of red between 3 people to celebrate the end of our Bariloche trekking week. However when it arrived, we realised that 1 portion of steak equals 3 individual fillet steaks (this is not mentioned on the menu and neither did the waiter say) so we ended up... More

After being in Villa la Angostura for a week, coming to spend the day in Bariloche seemed like a harsh change. People are just not as inviting as they were in Villa. However, it was a fast service and we were satisfied with our ojo de bife. Good flavor, not over-salted and super tender and moist. I'd recommend not asking... More

This unassuming place serves world class Argentine steak at reasonable prices. We had a chorizo steak which comfortably feeds two for u$s 17. We also had a provolone cheese slice (grilled to perfection), French fries (perfect skinny shape, crispy), chorizo sausage (finely ground, grilled to a gold shade), and a lettuce and tomato salad (correct, but you can only do... I've been fortunate to eat and so many world class restaurants across the world and Albert serves THE best steaks on the planet. It's a warm and oh so comfortable atmosphere but make sure to arrive early enough to get a table! Get the house salad and a steak and some delicious Malbec. And smile...

After traveling for over three weeks in Patagonia, I have to say that this is the best steak place I had visited. I went there three times and suggest going with the recommendations of the servers in terms of the cut for the day. Service is very good.
