A must place for dinner when in Bariloche.

Nice atmosphere - inside and outside seating. Gentle music. The beef is among the very best in town. Good portions. The service is deliberate as it is everywhere but the staff are very friendly and cordial. You pay a slightly lower price and get among the best dining experiences in town. Highly... read more

I eat steak regularly and all over the world. This has truly been the best steak I have ever had. So much so, I went back 3 times in a row. The owner even gave me a t shirt 😃. These steaks were made to the best standards of grilling. The price was amazing. Back in the states this kind... More

Everything about the meal was excellent - beautiful restaurant, amazing steak, great wine, delicious breads and the best chimichurri I´ve ever eaten. We were worried about being underdressed but it´s a really relaxed atmosphere where the emphasis is clearly on the food. The chips were the only let down but we´ve found them to be the same everywhere in Argentina... More

Excellent steak, reasonably priced wine & English speaking staff. All of the above in a pleasant and homely restaurant. It was not an intimidating or fancy atmosphere, we felt very welcome as two underdressed backpackers. The only criticism I would have is that the chips are bizarrely awful!? Every other aspect of the meal was top class, including breads and... More

I came in on very high recommendations and actually ate here 5 times - 2 for lunch and 3 for dinner. The atmosphere is very romantic. The steaks were high quality, it's just not #2 worthy. I got the lomo a few times - 1st time it was overcooked. 2nd & 3rd time it was over salted, I had to... More

The food was good! We had some "lomo" and tasty wine with it. Perhaps the meat was more cooked than we asked and the side dishes were "ok". If you want to eat good meat it is a good place but it is a bit expensive.

It is unbelievably good. I had Lomo and my husband had ribye. Lomo (fille) was so soft...I have no words to describe! Great service, wide variety of wines for very reasonable prices. One of the best dinners in my life! We tried other top rated steakhouses in Bariloche and this one was by far the best!

On a tip from a hostel staffer, we made our way up to Alto el Fuego. It's little but attractive, and we got a table outside on the patio instead of waiting for inside seating. The menu is short and to the point, and beef is king. We got a bife de chorizo and ojo de bife, both cooked "a... More

We decide to try our luck after reading the review from other TA.. Argentinian eat late(9-10pm)., so when we arrived at 7pm.. Restaurant wasn't open but the staff was kind enough to let us in early after they cleaned up.Food is your typical parrillada found in every town... We order rinon(kidney)., chinchulines, mollejas & ojo de bife ; Everything met... More
