The Lomo was excellant, done perfectly. The salad and chips were very fresh. The desserts come from Juaja. We ate there 2 times.

I ate in "Alto el fuego" twice and the meat there was maybe the best I've ever had. Besides the great food, the waiters were super helpful and patient, helped us with our spanish and the prices were very good. Thank you guys for a great dinner!

Went here for lunch with my boyfriend. We had tried to get dinner here the day before, but then they were full. We had read good reviews about the place, so we went to try the meat. We were the first guests of the day it seemed, so when we arrived, the chef himself took our order and helped us... More

Simple and cosy restaurant serving very good meals (the meat is delicious). Staff is kind and speaks English. Better book in advance cause the place is successful :)

Very cute restaurant. Food was spectacular, the meat was cooked to perfection and the Chimichurri sauce was the best I've ever had. We were lucky to sit at the table close to the window. Service was excelent. As a red wine lover, I just wished they had used the regular wine glasses, instead they used stemless wine glasses. The price... More

Perhaps my view of the meat differs from tourists outside of Argentina, since I've lived in the country for 6 years and have had my fair share of asado. We ordered provoleta (good), a salad (excellent), chorizo (okay, nothing special), french fries that arrived soggy, mashed potatoes that arrived gummy (and we suspected they were powdered potatoes from a mix),... AWFUL. We're locals and come here regularly. Tonight, however, my wife & I kept our 9:30 reservation, and even though there was a free table for 3, we were told we had to wait for a table for 2 to become available. Shocking and unacceptable; we won't be back.

The best of my life. This is a kind of restaurant I will be back for the rest of my life. Thank you Alto el... More

The meat comes from the same supplier as the pulperia, which is great! The place however got a bit lost in it's success I think; too commercial and rushing waitress who don't pay attention to the guests. The price is also a bit too high for the experience, especially compared to similar places around.

Dinner was very good, we had some bife de chorizo and it was indeed very good meat and very well prepared. While waiting, they served us some bread, butter and a salsa that was amazing. You can buy a jar of it to take home (which we did). The place was packed with people, especially tourists. The price was a... More
