Be prepared for LARGE portions of meat

We enjoyed the food and the service. Our two separate meat dishes were typical Argentina servings, i.e. huge. If not a big meat eater order one and share. The meat is delivered to your plate by the chef de meat who places it on your plate. My Filet mignon consisted of two large pieces. Their... read more

We came as a group and were treated as a herd. The place is not hygienic, even the toilets miss a basic item as drying towels. The waiters mixed orders of the dishes and the level of preparing the meat. The finale was when we got an ice cream based dessert in disposable cups, some of them cracked from over... More

We went to the one off the main road downtown between the buildings. There is usually a person standing next to it greeting you. We finally stopped to eat there and was not disappointed. The staff was excellent and friendly. They had brought us out some chorizo to test and was delicious. Order pork filets and empenadas. We think that... More

We went to the version off the main road in Bariloche. Waitresses and chef looking bored and playing on their cell phones. Order wine, waitress brings to table, walks off without opening bottle. Guy handling meat with his bare hands after playing with his cell phone... I was watching him and did not see him washing his hands before or... More

As we discovered, the terms to describe doneness of beef in parillas varies greatly in Argentina. At this parilla, they got it perfect the first time allowing the wine/meat pairing to be as it should be. After a brief 'issue' over the wine we ordered, the Manager quickly resolved the concern satisfactorily. We then thoroughly enjoyed the mixed grill (bife... More

We were blown away by the excellent service ,food and wine at reasonable prices. We ordered the rib eye steak and grilled lamb for 1. Both were huge and prepared to perfection. In fact they cut the steak in half and prepared one section rare & the other medium so we could share. No where in the world have i... More

We went to this restaurant for lunch and it had no costumers in it. The food took so long to be served and was a little raw. The service is not good at all, people is not kind. Also is too expensive, and the quality of the food is not that good.

Be warned! Our food was terrible. The provoleta was made from some tastless cheese mascarading as provolone and our rack of lamb was nothing but skin, bone and fat. The staff are totally unwillimg to resolve the issues!

Ask for the "Ojo de Bife" that tastes incredible. Big plates, if you are not that hungry, ask one plate for two people, to share.

We came here because we were told it is the best meat in bariloche. The meat is good as the famouse Alberto restaurant but service is much better. First time in all Argentina that the waiter asked 'how is the dish'.. We had a great time :) Thanks!
