The food at La Salamandra Pulperia was amazing but what really set this experience apart from other meals we had throughout Chile and Argentina was the traditional vibe and atmosphere from within the restaurant. La Salamandra Pulperia is a small restaurant run by a husband and wife team that sits about 6-7km outside of Bariloche town centre, towards Playa Bonita.... More

2nd attempt at making a reservation - (1st time was fully booked) - and worth the persistence. Great home cooked food made by the owners and served personally at your table. Nothing fancy but definitely worth the visit.

Small restaurant with personal service. We loved the mushrooms and felt very much at ease with the husband and wife team. We booked via Whatapp (if I remember correctly.)

By Far the Best Restaurant I went in Bariloche. The athmosphere is very warm and you feel at home. The service is very attentive and personalized. The dinner was outstanding, the mushroom bruscheta was absolutely perfect, an explosion of flavor in your mouth. The main entrees were as good as the appetizer, both the "ojo de bife" and the "entraña"... More

My wife and I have lived in Bariloche a few months out of the year for a few years and this is our favorite restaurant in Bariloche and rates probably top 5 for us in total! We love this place! The owners are amazingly friendly and have always met us with a smile and perfect English. If we ever stop... More

This place is awesome! We didn't have a reservation (for a Friday night) but got there right as they opened. The hostess said it was no problem and sat us right away. We ate empanadas, fried cheese and steak... Everything was great and couldn't have asked for more.

Visited the restaurant on a busy Thursday night, was part of a large group having dinner and everything was impeccable. From the gracious host to the delicious food and great wine. BRAVO! Definitely deserves its high rank. Run by husband and wife, truly a great experience. Keep up the great work, a must try if in Bariloche. Word of advice... More

All the previous reviews say it all, this is a wonderful find. Ambiance Small intimate premises with only ten tables, very rustic and homely. Staff Run by a couple, take time to make guests feel welcome then will make suggestion after explaining the short menu according to how hungry you are Food Excellent we started with the esplanadas and mushroom... We loved this place so much we ate here twice! And guess what? We met another couple eating there for the second time that week, too. The owners are so sweet and inviting. They speak excellent English and were able to describe the meals perfectly. The meats were amazing. Take the house wine! It's a tasty vintage.

Perfect place, located short ride from Bariloche. Ambiance is awesome, Renata and Jeronimo (husband and wife) are perfect hosts with a lot of experience working in and running many restaurants around the world. They offer very nice, short menu, which is a big advantage: all dishes are excellent! We have travelled around Argentina for a month, ate some great food,... More
