Great service, excellent wine options. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The empanadas were the best I've had so far in Argentina. Mushroom appetizer also very tasty.

Based off other TA reviews, my wife and I checked out Salamandra, and I would strongly recommend it. Friendly service, homey atmosphere, with a short-and-sweet menu... refreshing after so many in Argentina are 12 pages long with no real focus. We had the mushroom bruschetta, the provolone fried cheese, and the entrada steak - all were incredibly tasty! I'd go... More

I ended up here at the recommendation of my B&B operator. This is definitely her favourite place and she booked me into her favourite spot - a couch on the upper level amongst all the local antiques and furniture. I am a single traveller and I probably needed a little more company than this place offered but the food and... More

OK I'm going to explain how things are done at La Samandla. On arrival we were shown to our table (a converted treadle sewing machine like my mum used to use) and left with a menu. A little later, the lady of the house came to explain the menu, which is written in Goucho Spanish. She asked us how hungry... More

This is a family owned restaurant and visited it based on reviews in Tripadvisor. The food was amazing and was not expensive. The empanadas and the mushroom bruschetta was to die for. We shared the steak which came with a fantastic arugula salad. The hostess was really good and explained the menu to us in English. Would not hesitate to... More

I had been to this restaurant three years ago and returned to find it even better! The empanadas with jarra de vino (meat pastries with red wine) are a must. We also had the ojo de bife (steak) which was cooked perfectly and came with a super fresh salad. Don't miss out on this real Argentinian food...!

Ate here because of TA listing. Lived up to expectations. Booked by email link. Couple speak excellent English so no problem if that is easier for you. Venue is shabby chic but very clean and stylish. Short menu has about four choices per course. We ate empanadas and garlic mushrooms to start; skirt steak and chorizopan mains then one pudding.... This place is worth booking (via email or what's app). Excellent simple menu focused on meat and simple side salads. For once a place that thinks about the salad next to a steak. The mushroom starter is very tasty too. In Bariloche for steak go here and Albertos (get the lomo).

New to us on our fourth trip to Bariloche, found on Trip Advisor, our best all around experience. Founded by a couple, one from Brazil, the other from Mendoza who met while working in the US, and moved here to open the restaurant because of their interest in outdoor activities. As advised we made reservations and were greeted with smiles... More

This very small restaurant is very cosy, the owners are very helpful, speak good english, and forthcoming. The Chritzo steak was fabulous! Overall a very good experience. You have to make a reservation!
