Description: En 1865 un reducido grupo de galeses desembarco en las costas argentinas de Puerto Madrin y a partir de alli, y tras inmensos desafios, forjaron una de las colonias mas antiguas de la Argentina... El ritual del te, con sus aditivos patagonicos, fue lo que les permitio reunirse con sus viejas tradiciones de su pais de origen, el recuerdo de la familia, la amistad y las viejas historias fueron algunas de las sensaciones que surgian en cada sorbo... Descendientes directos de los galeses de aquellos tiempos, mas precisamente de Lewis Jones, organizador de la expedicion, en Equs nos propusimos revivir este ritual y es asi como trajimos a Bariloche la unica casa de Te Gales. En un entorno maravilloso, inmerso en una reserva natural y con un ambiente que nos recuerda a aquellos colonos que dejaron su tierra para preservar sus costumbres, Equs Posada de Campo promete trasladarlo por el siglo XIX sin dejar el XXI. El valor de la familia, la amistad, las tradiciones y por que no, el valor de descubrir lo nuevo esta al alcance de su mano.....Lo invitamos a revivir este tradicional ritual...

Teatime! It's an essential part of Patagonian culture, and Equs is the perfect place to experience teatime; it's run by a Welsh gentleman who understands the tradition and knows how to execute it. The scones were made on the spot, the Welsh cake was divine, the currant jam was exquisite, the homemade breads were very soft, and everything was fresh.... More

A great place to stop after doing the circuito chico. It's next door to Cordillera Bikes, so you can rent a bike there, drop it back at the end of the day and go next door to refuel with Welsh tea, homemade jam, bread, scones and (lots of) cakes. The circuit is 25km and hilly, so you can justify eating... More
