I have no idea why this restaurant is only in the top 20. Maybe because it's hidden away. My boyfriend and I stayed in Bariloche for a month and a half. We only got around to trying this restaurant a week before we left and it was so good we decided to return for our last dinner in Bariloche. We... More

We loved this restaurant for its inviting and romantic atmosphere a delicious food. The restaurant is cute, we were able to sit at a table with a view into a small nearby garden. Everything we ordered was tasty with many highlights and no misses. A quality wine list with great recommendations from our server. An outstanding meal all around.

Our group of 15 visited Kandahar last night and were very impressed by the quality of food, impeccable service and pleasant decor. Maggie was especially gracious and attentive towards our guests and our group's special dietary needs.

Beautifully and romantically furnished room in a lovely home. Interesting menu with a heavy influence on game (highly recommend the rabbit). Outstanding service. Highly recommended.

I travelled over 5 million miles and had great good in many places. Kandahar is among the best. It is as good as you can get. Go for fix menu for 2 if you can work the restaurant label wine.

I go to Bariloche often (for work) and I'm always eager to find new places to have a nice meal. Overall, Kandahar did not disappoint and I am glad I found this place slightly off-track if the main point of reference is the city's downtown. The service was superb and the ambiance was great. Considering how much work is needed... More

The food, service and decor at this small restaurant were all elegant and delightful. The deer empanada was exceptional with light pastry dough (unlike the heavy 'pizza-like dough we have come to find just about everywhere in Argentina), incredible lamb stuffed pasta shells and perfectly seasoned and cooked trout. BTW - The restaurant was so wonderful and romantic that another... More

Small restaurant with casual but elegant service. The waitress was lovely. The deer empanadas, rabbit, and trout were excellent. Very good white wine from Mendoza. Our best meal in Bariloche.

My partner and I are well traveled travelers and have been all over Europe, Asia and Africa. We have been traveling for more than 2 months in Brazil and Argentina and after spending 2 weeks in Bariloche we had found it quite difficult to get away from the usual meat and ravioli offer. So we were so pleased to come... More

We spent 9 days in Bariloche and chose to eat here twice because it was the nicest atmosphere and best food we had in Bariloche. The first night we had the rabbit and the venison. Both were lovely, and the recommended wine paired nicely with both dishes. We dined here a second time on our last evening in Bariloche and... More
