We went ti this place because we really liked their ice cream in Helado Jauja a few blocks away. We were quite disappointed because you get mediocre food in pretty small size dishes for fancy prices. And be aware, you have a 15 peso mandatory "serving fee" per person, and you only find about that in the bill because nobody... More

By far our the worst meal of our first week in So. America. Not sure all these good reviews came from?!?! Hear me out: for a very affordable Pinot 750 ml (110 pesos), one chorizo to try (30 pesos), some venison tenderloin ('Ciervo", but asking for another sauce with Morels instead of the standard one), one trout Au Roquefort ("Trucha",... I can't recommend Jauja enough. It's only 2 streets uphill from Mitre, so a lot of people miss it and end up going to touristy restaurants. This place is much more authentic and the food is really good. You can have great Stakes or try local (Boar, deer). Ditch those overrated stakehouses and do yourself a favor.

all meats were superb including cold cuts. very good wine list and convenient location. Best for my taste were lamb and trout. Very good quality Patagonian food. We were there with big company and tried a lot of items on the menu - were not disappoint with any of them - hot or cold.

My husband and I showed up at 7:30 on the nail. First ones there. We were welcomed. I ordered trout, he had the lamb and potatoes noisette. And a salad and bottle of wine. My trout was ok. I've never had trout that was salmon colored. Some of it was probably a little too close to the broiler and was... More

We started well with good empanadas, but after that there was a definite lack of education and care. I requested a bottle of water 3 times, and after an hour I was waiting without it. The entrana was good, but the steak was ojo literally roasted, and requested rare. Another absurdity of the restaurant is that even disregarding the couver... More

We had an excellent lunch here off season when the restaurant was mostly empty. No reservation was needed and they were open late for lunch. We had a delicious bowl of vegetable soup and a tasty venison empanadas to start. For the main course my wife had a delicious sautéed trout with olive oil and capers, my daughter had wonderful... We were advised to visit this restaurant by the concierge at our hotel. What a pleasure. It was so good that we went back there the second night and ate the same meal all over again. The steak was superb and came with a whole platter of char grilled vegetables. Te wine selection was also excellent. The service was perfect... More

My girlfriend and I are harsh critics and have very high standards. This restaurant exceeds them!!! We have travelled extensively and can safely say this is the best steak and trout we have eaten! The food, wine, presentation and service exceeded our expectations! We ate here twice in 4 days! Well done!! Highly recomended!

We, a group of 4, visited this restaurant after a day of touring the lovely lakes and places in Bariloche. We entered the restaurant at about 7pm and although it was still early, we were made to feel very welcome. The waiting staff were friendly and spoke English (for a change) We ordered 1 Beef steak, 2 Goulash with Spatzl... More
