We had an excellent lunch here off season when the restaurant was mostly empty. No reservation was needed and they were open late for lunch. We had a delicious bowl of vegetable soup and a tasty venison empanadas to start. For the main course my wife had a delicious sautéed trout with olive oil and capers, my daughter had wonderful... We were advised to visit this restaurant by the concierge at our hotel. What a pleasure. It was so good that we went back there the second night and ate the same meal all over again. The steak was superb and came with a whole platter of char grilled vegetables. Te wine selection was also excellent. The service was perfect... More

My girlfriend and I are harsh critics and have very high standards. This restaurant exceeds them!!! We have travelled extensively and can safely say this is the best steak and trout we have eaten! The food, wine, presentation and service exceeded our expectations! We ate here twice in 4 days! Well done!! Highly recomended!

We, a group of 4, visited this restaurant after a day of touring the lovely lakes and places in Bariloche. We entered the restaurant at about 7pm and although it was still early, we were made to feel very welcome. The waiting staff were friendly and spoke English (for a change) We ordered 1 Beef steak, 2 Goulash with Spatzl... More

This restaurant came recommended as somewhere with good vegetarian/fish options and did not disappoint. I had a local wild bore dish and my wife had pategonian trout with lemon. Both delicious. Owner is very tuned into customer service, you get a quick survey to compete before leaving the restaurant. He had actually read ours and said he'd addresses the one... More

Had lunch at Jauja advised by our hotel owner. We were looking for milanesas, and we found good ones there. The environment is pleasant and the service was faster than usual for Bariloche. Prices are OK. All in all, we had a good experience.

Yummy! I had the Patagonian Lamb served with rosemary and honey sauce, and chose some mash potato & squash sides. It was delicious. The waitress was kind enough to tell me I didn’t need to order two full sides (one squash, one potato) but I could do half and half. The lamb portion was massive. My fiancé had the wild... More
