Vegetarians can eat here too!

As veggies, we had a reasonable choice - not always the case in South America! Huge portions. The meat eaters we were with enjoyed their food. It's an extremely popular place, with a queue to take our table when we left at 10 45pm. Friendly and efficient service.

We arrived very late due to missing our flight and this superb find was a few steps from our hotel. The lovely waitress made recommendations to us which we took up. Two of us shared the 400g ojo de bife which was amazing. We shared a mixed salad and had 2 bottles of the Malbec recommended by the waitress. Little... More

Went to El Boliche de Alberto one night and La Parrilla de Tony the next. Alberto is the king as he had at least 4 restaurants in Bariloche. At Alberto's we had the rib eye which was outstanding, juicy, great taste. The grill guy comes to take your order and we ordered "medium rare" which he said would be "red"... More

Just came back from dinner at tony's with my wife and friends. We had high expectations since we've got some recommendations and all of us got to the same conclution: GO TO 'EL BOLICHE THE ALBERTO' !!! Alberto is chipper and much much much more tasty.

Every single piece of parrillada was very good with the typical argentinian smell and flavours. The "parrillero" came to tables offering more meat and asking what you prefer. Very satisfying, lot of food. Attendants are not specialist (just bring what you ask for) but I give more importance to food, what in this case was excellent.

It was not tasty for us, just like that. Meat (biffe de ocho) came dry and tough and the spaghetti for kids was basic. The waitress did not know the job. Meat was replaced but the next one also was not tasty, maybe bad luck for us.. We found restaurant don Alberto to be a better one by far.

We stayed at an apartment a few doors down from Tony's. Stopped in for dinner. Had the provolone cheese special -- it was like a big omelette with sliced tomatoes on top. Not bad, but too much for the 2 of us. The steak was underdone -- even for DH who likes it rare. I was able to get a... More

We were recommended this place by the hostel, and were told that it was a local favourite. We were not disappointed. Having ordered a mixed grill for two at 200 pesos in total, we were fed a stream of steaks (of different cuts), ribs, and belly. The meat was juicy and tender, and the owner (who we thought was "Tony"... More

Went here with high expectations as had read some good reviews. First off we noticed that the prices were very high, but after having had some enormous steaks elsewhere in Bariloche, we thought the portion size would reflect the higher cost. My girlfriend ordered the lamb, I had the pork and we shared a side of french fries as they... More

Had wonderful asado in a typical Argentinian parrilla setting. Well located, served by Tony, a butcher from Buenos Aires, who cooks and walks around making sure everything is ok. We enjoyed the evening
