Call me stingy

Call me stingy, but I really appreciated how the waitress easily and kindly accommodated a request to serve two with one serving. My wife and I got a holiday rental in Bariloche and were somewhat lost on the first night, after taking a taxi from the airport. It was 10:00 pm and we were tired, on... read more

Lovely building and decor but....the food couldn't match that! Our steak was tough in texture and it was not enjoyable to eat it and it was way over priced, like double the price of other restaurants that were much better. We ran into a small group of 4 out and about and they too were disappointed in the poor meat... More

I recommend a visit to this restaurant, not necessarily for the food, but for the views and the décor. Food was good, not great, but the view of the lake and the huge fireplace where the lamb was being grilled was fabulous to see. The price is almost double most other steakhouses in Bariloche. so it is probably one of... More

This fine dinning restaurant offers great food and sophisticated environment, very high quality! A bit expensive, but worth it for the overall experience!

Our dinner might have been one of the best in a 3 week vacation eating at many places. Restaurant may look a bit too sophisticated for me at first ( due to size and else) but dinner was excellent. We had red meat and trout, very fresh, well prepared and generous. Service was also outstanding. The menu is very extensive... More

Beautiful decor, typical for the region. Food was average but very expensive. Service was inconsistent, some good some bad. Meals were decent (we are there twice) but felt we had been overcharged. While convenient to some of the hotels (across from Lirolay where we stayed) it would be worth venturing out a little further where you are likely to find... More

Excellent food, but as all things in the tourist town of Bariloche expensive. Nice building with large area to relax at the rear after dinner.

Lunch was very good and we enjoyed visiting with the resident roosters. This was our first expsoure to Aregentine steak. Tasty but chewy. Not the tender meat we are used to in the Midwest. DO NOT MISS the caramel ice cream. We are still talking about it.

We went to patacon with very high expectations on recommendation but it wasnt worth the trip. We had trucha and some kind of dear meat- ciervo stew. Trucha was better however both were too heavy and a bit tasteless. I didnt even eat the ciervo after 3 bites and had to leave with a half full stomach. For entree, the pumpkin... More
