A gem of a find . We went for lunch where the choice is limited but we chose a mixed veg dish with fish. Delicious . Lovely fresh flavours and not the usual muddy ,spicy food you get as a veg option . Yummy desserts too! Slightly 70's feel to the place but somehow that really worked. Best meal so... More

Healthy and high quality ingredients. Loved it! I just wish they opened earlier for supper (8pm) for the foreigners who are used to eating earlier.

Even if you not vegetarian but is looking for a healthy meal this is a very good option. Fresh fruit juices and a single menu that includes a large variety of vegetarian delights.

This is a real haven after the steak-fest that is most people's visits to Argentina. Wonderful atmosphere, unique menu, great, healthy, home-cooked food. What's not to like?

Fabulous food. Excellent host. Fixed menu. Everything is homemade down to the jugos. Heaven. Reasonably priced in a very expensive area. Breath of fresh air. Closed Sundays.

An absolute breath of fresh air after all the bread & sweet stuff we've been eating! Although a little outside of the main drag, it's worth the walk. We went to this delightful, quaint little restaurant for dinner during our stay in Bariloche. There is a set menu which I believe changes on a daily basis. They served us wonderful... More

After weeks of eating a heavily carnivorous diet in Argentina (mostly bife de something-steak and potatoes) it was such a nice change of scenery to find this gem of a restaurant in Bariloche! Everything here is delicious: from the bread, the various jams and spreads, tea, juices, soups, salads, and entrees. Came here 4 out of the 6 days in... More

For the price of the food, it was a healthy, cheap meal. There was no menu for lunch, it was set with a big place of food for $40 pesos. It wasn't that tasty, quite bland and not very original for vegetarian cuisine. The atmosphere was also very dark with no natural light coming into the place and all the... More

My husband and I were relieved to find El Vegetariano, as we were tired of the endless amounts of white bread, pastries and pasta we have been eating on our holiday in Argentina. We loved the idea of the set menu, with four courses brought out in quick succession. Carrot dip, pumpkin soup, vegetarian platter and tiramisu. Very flavoursome, although... More

After all the beef in Argentina is was time for some vegetarian food. El Vegetariano was close to my b&b. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the lady is very friendly. They have a fixed menu. The carrot mayo and the homemade bread were delicious. Took the bean soup and the main course. The main course consisted of 6... More
