The ice cream here was okay. Nothing outstanding and certainly nothing as good as the ice cream at Rapanui.

Jauja's ristretto sets a new bar for me. It is what coffee ice cream should be everywhere: bitter and bracing, not syrupy sweet. Great, creamy texture. Dark chocolate is also appropriately dark. They can be surly, and the mechanism of ordering (pay first for your ice cream by quantity, then get a number and order flavors) feels needlessly complicated.

There are very original flavors, tasty and creamy. Very good and the people are attentive. Definitively a try in Bariloche

We found local ice cream parlors to be much better quality and tastier than the chain, Jauja. I think it's over-hyped and would recommend trying local places instead.

We couldn't keep away, we had Ice cream here everyday. The ice cream is excellant, especially the dark chocolate.

3.5 star rating. Comparable to places like Freddo or Persicco. Good ice cream, some local flavors I had not seen anywhere else. The place itself is not too appealing. so probably best to take out and eat on your way or in your hotel.

The ice cream is average. Everything about jauja is average. They also only allow you to sample 2 flavors. We had much better ice cream in Argentina and elsewhere.

Jauja are FAR the best homemade ice-creams you can taste in Bariloche. They prepare it in the traditional way and you can find many different flavours you will never find somewhere else all over the world. My advice: Sauco (elderberry) + Chocolate Profundo (bitter chocolate)!!!

This place has amaaazing ice cream, milkshakes, etc. Great flavors, and pretty good prices. We shared a mint chocolate shake but can't wait to try raspberry and dark chocolate!
