The ice cream is average. Everything about jauja is average. They also only allow you to sample 2 flavors. We had much better ice cream in Argentina and elsewhere.

We are sorry to read that our product didn't meet your expectations. We are very sorry if a misunderstanding happened when you visited us regarding how many flavours you where allowed to sample; there is no 2 flavour sampling limit in any of our stores. Regards, Melchor Mazzini Helados Jauja More

Jauja are FAR the best homemade ice-creams you can taste in Bariloche. They prepare it in the traditional way and you can find many different flavours you will never find somewhere else all over the world. My advice: Sauco (elderberry) + Chocolate Profundo (bitter chocolate)!!!

This place has amaaazing ice cream, milkshakes, etc. Great flavors, and pretty good prices. We shared a mint chocolate shake but can't wait to try raspberry and dark chocolate!

There's quite a lot to choose from, but all flavours I tried were somewhere between very good and excellent. Blueberry was my favourite - best ice cream I ate in all my life!

Lots of choice of flavours of very good quality icecream. You pay for the size of cone you want then choose 2 or more scoops / flavours depending on your size. A friend ate a different 2 flavours every day to try them al!

I came here all the time it's by far the best ice cream in Bariloche and maybe the whole Rio Negro province. The number 1 flavour I would reccomend is Chocolate Profundo (dark chocolate) it is one of the best I've ever tasted. Also but not always available is Crema de Mani, it is like peanut butter, if your a... More

Definitely one of the best ice creams I've ever had! While staying in Bariloche for two weeks, there was not a single day in which I didn't have a Jauja ice cream! This is just so delicious. Though it's expansive (comparable with a european ice cream shop), it's worth it! You cannot leave Bariloche without giving it a shot.. I... More

Friendly staff who will talk you through the many, many different flavours of ice cream on the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, raspberry cream, double espresso and creamy caramel....be warned portions are huge!

for the cost of a coffee in australia, you get this superb icecream in a waffle cone. i was in fact amazed when the guy said it would come with a second scoop. i chose cassis which was wonderful, rich taste, full flavours would definitely eat ice cream there again. the problem is after most restaurants meals you are full...
