Managed to get a table just after 7.00pm after which the restaurant filled up rapidly mainly with largish family groups. We had the fish stew and hake dishes which were nothing special but nevertheless okay.We do try different dishes when travelling and sometimes we get it wrong so would not be critical on the 1 visit

We happened on this restaurant on our first day in Puerto Madryn at lunchtime. They offer an excellent menu del diá: 3 courses for 120 pesos, which is less than £10. Absolutely delicious - my main course of white salmon in Roquefort sauce was fabulous. The staff are all male & clearly good at their jobs - the place was... More

Had some recommendations for this place so i made reservations for 6 for 8pm. We arrived at 8 and were told they don't open till 815. I said that's okay, we can have a cocktail. I was on crutches and had two little girls in toe and it was really windy but the man (owner?) not so politely insisted we... More

A rather nice place, good service, well presented dishes, reasonable prices. BUT... I keep on making the same error when abroad: taste seafood. Why an error? Because out of the Mediterranean (and probably also out of the tropics, but I do not have any experience on that) fresh seafood quite simply does not exist. They generally serve frozen seafood. As... The waiters are polite and patient. On both occasions we went in as part of a large group. They catered for us well, promptly with a wide selection of excellent food to choose from. A Block back from the Promenade. Two floors, plenty of seating. Open till late. Popular. Try and book early evening

This restaurant was almost full but we were given a table nevertheless. Service was very, very slow. We waited at least half an hour to order our food and drinks, and were there for almost 3 hours simply because everything was so slow. My husband and daughter were satisfied with the steaks they ordered – although they looked a little... More

It is definitely the greatest place to have dinner. The great and unexpected combination of service and tasty food. The place is quite crowded and we suggest to make a reservation before. You will feel that you visited some local restaurant where the taste of food is on the first place and staff really care about you, don't be afraid... More
