Gret food, very poor wine list

We had octopus Gallega style, truly great, and giant shrimp casserole, with top notch large shrimp in a souplike liquid that was so good I asked for more. But the wine list! Poor, no wine I recognized, all cheap and very cold - reds and whites. With a good wine list, some at room tempereture, the... read more

Went to this restaurant based on tripadvisor reviews and I must say I was not disappointed. We had seafood (pulpitos and shrimps) and fish and all was fresh and well prepared. We ended up having dinner here on our second night in Puerto Madryn as it was so good!

This restaurant was highly recommended. The langoustines were very good and fresh, but don't try something more sophisticated as Argentinians don't know how to prepare seafood and sadly this restaurant is no exception. The fish we had was not that fresh (maybe because it was a holiday?) and cooked without any flair. Same with the paella. Was in doubt about... More

This is an english-free zone. Full of locals. Fish is only thing on the menu and the choice and the cooking thereof is great. Not a luxurious setting but great food as a cheap price

This place is rather famous in Puerto Madryn and is said by some locals to be a secret gem... In fact, it is massively frequented. I had a bad impression whatsoever: staff is not friendly at all, food is just ok and prices are high comparing to nearby restaurants. Definitely overrated!

We had such a nice supper here this evening. Went by taxi into town only to find restaurant we were hoping to go to was closed. Taxi driver then took us to the Marisco del Atlantica when we said we wanted to eat fish. This is a small family run restaurant which as far as we could understand is supplied... More

This place is locally renowned as the best seafood restaurant, but I was very disappointed. The picada de mariscos (warm seafood starter) was clearly cooked in advance, you know when cooked food gets partially dried and it is revived in the micorwave or in a pan... The main dish - a fish with Atlantic sauce - was barely passable. Also... More

Very good seafood restaurant, mainly local clientele, unpretentious but friendly. The fish is fresh, good quality and nicely cooked and great value for the price. A bit off the beaten track.
