Very good seafood dishes, but don't eat anything before, as the portions are big and taste so good…..
We were a group of 6 - 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 children (1 & 3 years). Everywhere else seemed to open at 8pm but Ambigu opened at 7:30pm which was necessary for the children. Checked the lonely planet for a nice restaurant in Puerto Madryn. Picked Ambigu, from outside it looked inviting, but once entered, the waiter didn't show much of interest. A really nice restaurant with a good ambiance and nice people. The food quality is the best you can have in Puerto Madryn. I tried some dish with fish which they recommended me and it was extremely tasty (muy rico). Service is good and the cost is justified with the quality and service you are getting.
This is by no means fine dining but it was refreshing to have wonderful, fast service in a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed ourselves.

We went here because it was on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. As others have written-ambiance was not 5 stars, but the food, price and service were excellent. I had the special of the day- T-bone steak- WOW!
It was a nice meal but nothing extraordinary. We could not get to any of the restaurants that had better reviews because they do not open till 8 p.m.
We got great service and great food at Ambigu. It was the restaurant we most enjoyed. I had the French salad and my husband tried one of their chicken dishes. We shared a huge ice cream with dulce de leche and chocolate for desert. We noticed that service was slower than we're used to (in the USA) and at Ambigu... More
