We called without a reservation just after 7.00pm and managed to get a good table. This was a Saturday night and the restaurant quickly filled up with large family parties. We had prawn curries with potatoes and the portions of prawns was truly generous.Whilst the curry was extremely mild we did enjoy our visit.

Just had a great meal here, garlic prawns and grilled fish. All washed down with good cold beers, would happily return.

I liked chicken and potatoes. My friends got a pizza and it was quite good...I mean, not like the italian one, but good! The pizza greande is really huge, it's for two people!

I've been to Ambigu a couple times and the food and service is good. I've had the pizza and pasta, both very good. Atmosphere is casual but not too casual and you can bring kids.

Very good seafood dishes, but don't eat anything before, as the portions are big and taste so good…..

We were a group of 6 - 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 children (1 & 3 years). Everywhere else seemed to open at 8pm but Ambigu opened at 7:30pm which was necessary for the children. Extensive menu, wonderful meals, nice surroundings and reasonably priced. And if you show them one of those yellow maps that most hotels and hostels... More

Checked the lonely planet for a nice restaurant in Puerto Madryn. Picked Ambigu, from outside it looked inviting, but once entered, the waiter didn't show much of interest. Service was very quick and very commercial. We didn't finish our starter, while the main course was already on the table. Ingredients didn't taste very fresh, we suspect they were deep frozen.... A really nice restaurant with a good ambiance and nice people. The food quality is the best you can have in Puerto Madryn. I tried some dish with fish which they recommended me and it was extremely tasty (muy rico). Service is good and the cost is justified with the quality and service you are getting.

This is by no means fine dining but it was refreshing to have wonderful, fast service in a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed ourselves.

Popped I here for a pizza after a couple of cocktails next door at margarita. Had anchovy topping and it was delicious. The restaurant is a very laid back, cafe style place , nothing fancy. However the food was delicious so I would happily go back!
